Women: stay away from this place. The owner has allowed sexual predators to use this venue as their hunting ground. Lots of great places to drink in Nevada City where the staff will make sure that women are respected. This place isn’t one of them.
Nice atmosphere. Clean, patio with tables and for smoking, ping pong table, dsrts and some nights live music, fun events or dj. Very hippy, hipster, free spirit type of vibe.

I was greeted at the door by a belligerent middle aged lady. she claimed to be the owner or something. i was extremely respectful and caused no problems but was promptly kicked out because of questioning her authority. she carried herself so unprofessionally it was hard to believe she was running the door.

As the name implies, this is a solid bar. There's a great cross-section of locals and nearbys without a lot of posing. It can get loud, it can get real. It belongs in Nevada City to keep things grounded.

Killer shows covering multiple genres. Nice dance floor and outside area. Fantastic staff.
