Stopped by this local favorite for lunch today...Roast Beef (aka Roast Beast) was spot on and solid, the French onion soup was a warm welcome after a long rainy week. I also left with a tub of the Kansas City BBQ sauce to augment some brined and smoked baby back ribs at home for dinner...also well worth the money at a price point equivalent to grocery store gourmet BBQ sauce. As the grandson of a professional meat cutter (40+ years), that cures meats on a hobby/craft level, and prepares about 1500 lbs of meat and over 100 gallons of BBQ sauce for public consumption every year, The Ham Stand is 100% what I'd expect and a lot of extra nuances that are well worth the money for local craftsmanship and attention to detail.

Wow!! Great sandwiches!!! We had the Gobbler and Reuben and we were blown away. Yes, they were a higher price point but they are gourmet deli sandwiches! It’s to be expected. If they are too expensive for you, don’t come here. That’s not a fair way to review a business. They aren’t going to lower their prices to accommodate the few who don’t want to pay. That’s not the way it works. I’ll be back for sure!! Thank you for the amazing meats

I finally stopped in and I am so grateful that I did. It takes passion and serious dedication to produce perfect sausage and top shelf cured meats. While I was here I had the good fortune to speak with the owner Kevin. He is a super cool guy that knows his craft very well. If you love all things pig as much as I do then I urge you to take the time to stop by this establishment and treat yourself. There aren't many old school sulumeria shops left. Do not miss out on this place!

This was a great place to get some quality meats and sandwiches when Jason owned it but now that Rose and Kevin are owners it has gone up a notch or two. They really put some love into the food and it shows. If you are in the area stop in and get some amazing food if your not in the area drive there and get a great reward for your efforts. Don't forget to get a cookie while you are there!

So I was told great things about The Ham Stand and it did not disappoint. The Pastrami was tender, and so very tasty. The only problem I have is I'm from NY, and when I have a Pastrami sandwich I want at least twice the meat that was on this sandwich, and since the sandwich was already over 20 dollars that would mean a 40 plus dollar sandwich. The owner is very helpful and friendly and the place has a great vibe to it. They could work on the tables outside a bit, even though most of their business it seems it take out.
Stoped in there for the first time for a sandwich with my wife. We had the Cubano sandwich. ABSOLUTELY AMAZING!!! Little pricey but I feel worth it!!!

Unique find in a small town. Artisan food made with attention to detail and passion for the creative. Had a great experience and would eat here weekly if I lived local. It is a take out only place with a few outdoor tables so keep that in mind.

The hype is real. I discovered this place this week and have been back 3 times. Every sandwich has been epic. Loved the Reuben, loved the banh mi special, and the Sunday special which was Crab and Egg rolls. Looking forward to try the beast next. The reuben and banh mi have been my favorite so far.Edit: tried the gobbler and the ham standard and you can add those to my fav list.

Picked up a Reuben here to go and it was fantastic. The Pastrami was generous, the kraut was tasty, the bread was thick and flavorful. Definitely going back.
