But the Pancake don't order1/2 order the full trust me that was by far the best part of my breakfast tasted like a blend of fresh pancakes and a funnel cake. Try it out and give them a shot. The food was good, and it came out fast, I’m not crazy about the home fries seasoning, and I wish they had a hashbrowns option. The service was good, and I really appreciate that taxes are included in the price makes it easier to split the bill! The orange juice is delicious! The breakfast tacos were good, and the huevos rancheros were huge! I hope they add hashbrowns, but everything else was on pointVegetarian options: They have beyond sausage which is awesome!

Hello South Pine - I enjoy the atmosphere at South Pine. It feels like a cute nook in the wall. I get the huevos rancheros when I come here. I’m here now and last time was nearly a year ago. This time the huevos rancheros came with two small taco tortillas and minimal green salsa. Of course this is just my opinion, but I want you to either put a third tortilla on there with the beans OR the big tortilla like you did way back when. This way it doesn’t look like a small amount of food when I receive the plate. It will look like I’m receiving a full plate. Also, I want you to put red salsa on top rather than green salsa. Red will give color contrast and a more beautiful dish, which I believe, enhances the experience overall. Other than that, I appreciate being served by Josh and love the peaceful, quaint atmosphere. Really tasty food, excellent service, and comfortable decor make this restaurant a winner. Breakfast all day, and a good selection of dishes, plus delicious sandwiches for lunch. My husband had a 2-egg breakfast with home fries, bacon, and toast, and he loved everything. I had a club sandwich on whole wheat with a side salad. The sandwich was perfect, very tasty and too large to finish. I loved the mixed greens side salad, the lemon vinaigrette was lovely. Definitely recommend this restaurant.Parking: Paid street parking, bring quarters!

If you want to try some amazing pancakes, The Place at South Pine restaurant in Nevada City is where it’s happening! These were HIT THE TABLE GOOD!!! So good that I got up to compliment the cook who was a cool chill guy behind the counter! As I took a bite of the fluffy, soft, flavorful pancake doused in butter and syrup, I thought I died and gone to heaven! Now my mouth is watering……??? Can’t wait to go back!!! Thank you for the awesome pancakes yesterday!☺️☺️☺️

Amazing. I love this café. Every time I visit Nevada City I make sure to stop here! Great vibes, right off the Main Street, seriously good food. The Huevos Rancheros (other than my mother's) - honestly the best I've had and I'm extremely particular. So so so in love with this place. The two women working were hustling and friendly. I'll be back!
