Stopped by to pick up the best oatmeal raisin cookie on the planet! This time we added a delicious whole apple pie for home. The pie was baked to perfection and we all enjoyed it hot with vanilla ice cream. I’m looking forward to my next trip to the coast!
So, you’re trying to drum up business for your hotel in the middle of nowhere and your first picture of your place is of a bunch of idiots wearing masks outside? Great way to read the room and your potential customer base.
This inn is fantastic! From the moment I arrived, the staff made me feel welcome and took care of everything. The service was seriously impressive—friendly, professional, and always on point.
The rooms were clean, comfortable, and had a modern yet cozy vibe that made it easy to relax after a long day. The whole place has a laid-back atmosphere that’s perfect for unwinding.
If you’re looking for a spot with great service and a cool, comfortable setting, this is it. Definitely planning to stay here again!

The Buckhorn is hands down one of my favorite spots! The atmosphere is cozy and welcoming, and the staff is super friendly and attentive. The food is always incredible—everything from the perfectly cooked steaks to the delicious sides feels so well thought out.
Their drink menu is awesome too, especially the craft cocktails. You can tell they put a lot of effort into making sure every detail is just right. Whether you’re there for a nice dinner or just grabbing drinks, it’s a place you’ll want to keep coming back to. Highly recommend!
Amazing atmosphere. Staff is always super friendly! I look forward to monthly (sometimes more often) date night at the Buckhorn!

We had the best weekend at the Cuyama Buckhorn! Everything about this place is so well thought out, from the stylish rooms to the relaxed, welcoming vibe. It’s the perfect mix of retro charm and modern comfort.
The food was seriously amazing. Every meal felt like a treat, and the ingredients were so fresh. The staff was super friendly and made sure we had everything we needed, which made the whole trip even better.
It’s such a great spot to unwind and feel like you’re really getting away from it all. We’re already talking about coming back for another weekend soon!

Cuyama Buckhorn is one of my favorite weekend-away destinations! It's the perfect place to relax at the pool, enjoy coffee or cocktails by the fire, and eat some great meals (the veggie burger with onion rings is my favorite).
We hosted my partner's birthday party here a few years ago and it was the best place to do it. The whole team was so helpful with coordinating our stay and a special dinner... I highly recommend hosting your events here!

A group of friends (20) and I did a car rally and had a fantastic stay at the buckhorn. Thank you Mila and staff! Will be back

Food and drinks: I would give this restaurant a no star because there were more flys than French fry’s on my plate. Could not enjoy the expensive food because of the flys. No good at all super gross.

Passing through on my travels. Had breakfast at 11AM at the Buckhorn Cafe. We ordered, build your own omlete, pepper jack cheese, tri-tip, & mushrooms with country potatoes on the side. The other plate was chorizo sausage patty and eggs served on a skillet, with boysenberry jam and toast. Both meals are delicious, I will be back!

I have driven past this hotel / restaurant but I don’t stop I visit a friends from here a lot of times and / or go thru the town up to Santa Maria to visit my mom. I come from New Jersey and I drive all the way from there to LA but then take 166 for faster route. Might need to stop here to eat a cheeseburgers
