Order a family meal through doordash. Half of my meal didn't make it and instead of taking responsibility for the lack of my meal they blame it on the Dasher. It's both the store and the Dashers responsibility to make sure the order is complete. ( ex-dasher speaking). After getting hung up on 4 times!!!!! I finally get a hold of Paola who says I can come get my missing items. Again total inconvenience for someone who ordered delivery not pickup. So I'm finally getting ready to eat and I'm disgusted because they served me FAT. Not just a little but about 1/4 contents of my meat was pure fat.... I was told I would receive a pound of MEAT NOT FAT. I'm highly irritated and definitely will not be giving this artegas another shot.

Hired Arteaga's Catering for my parents 70th Birthday Party at Cerritos Community Center in Fremont. My contact was Gerardo and from the first moment I sent an email, the whole transaction was so incredibly easy and seamless. I even mentioned to Gerardo how I wish ALL vendors would operate this way. He was very quick to send information, pricing and basically responded to all of my emails quickly, and even tried to call to get things done faster. He helped me think through event details and gave me event day scenarios in case it rained (I wanted a Taquiza but if it rained he said they could do indoor buffet). Event day arrives and the ladies/crew showed up super early, which I thoroughly appreciated it because it was one less thing to stress about. I gave them quick directions as to where to set up and what to do, and they said "got it from here!" Wow! Awesome! They were so helpful and nice, great attitude all through out the event and afterwards too. They helped me pack up left overs and even put them away in the kitchen for me. They set up quickly and beautifully. We had a fiesta theme, so their decor for the salsa table complimented ours. The tacos were FULL of meat and the salsa's were delicious, basically all of our guests were so happy with the food - thumbs up! So THANK YOU GERARDO and Arteaga's for helping us make it a memorable experience with happy full tummies, and a very professional and hard working crew that delivered top notch catering. Highly recommend from someone that has high standards. Pretty much all of our Mexican Catering needs will always be with Arteaga's! Have a great 2019!

Love this spot. Large portions and very fresh. The Asada fries and Nachos are the best around in my opinion. Also If your looking for keto friendly option the burrito bowls with no rice/beans and extra meat is awesome.

First time at local mom & pop Hispanic market in Newark and I will be back. I bought some Shrimp which was really fresh, and excellent price, also got tomatoes, onions, cilantro & homestyle chips. I went home and and made a killer ceviche without breaking the bank! I'm glad neighborhood markets like this can still be found.

This little haven is ridiculously delicious! The grocer attached insures the fresh supply of fresh protein, produce, and general supplies. No other taqueria in the area matches this locations flavor with every bite and hte freshness of their salsas! The staff even recognize you (don't judge me) after a few visits and smile even more warmly than usual! Always a treat to see their friendly, kind faces after a long day - they just turn your evening around with kindness! I never order ahead and I think the most I have ever waited was 10-15 minutes after I placed my order. They make items fresh to order, so if you want a speedy taco with no quality you need to go somewhere else. You will only find quality ingredients and packed flavor at this venue. I like that their variety of fresh juices changes up and the treats they have near the register are ridiculously delicious. I have yet to try their actual grocer section as I always come in on a mission for my Mexican food fix... cleanest salsa bar I have ever seen for how busy they are too. I have my eye on their Micheladas, on my must try list for this spot. Future YELP party?!
I used frequent this place mainly out of convenience, the taqueria is so slow and the employees have Zero customer service in the taqueria, go in to this place if you have 30 minutes to wait for lousy food.

The food is definitely got a lot better! The chicken super burrito is to try! The place is very busy. Best to come in only if you are okay with the wait. I am not a big fan of the sauces but the food quality has got a lot better and very flavorful. There isn't much seating inside, since it is a food market attached. My next visit here i will try the michelada. Looks very delicious. They have a lot of choices to chose from and there place is self seating. There isn't much parking spots, so best to come during non rush hour.

Omg this place is amazing! Their taqueria has the best, most authentic food and they have a good variety of fresh meat, produce, tortillas, and pan dulce. Best place in the area by far for for staple ingredients. They also have fresh chicharon and carne seca. Yuuummmmmmmmm

My spot for to go quick grocery and burrito. The burritos has always been epic. Qasadillas are also quite amazing. I yet to try tacos. I also use this place to get quick groceries. Such a friends staff.
