My steak was so tough I could not cut it with the steak knife. The condiments were cold almost right out of the frig. The fully loaded mashed potatoes had 5 tiny bits of bacon and also cold. I returned it. Service was good, nice atmosphere.

Absolutely fantastic ambience and atmosphere!! Love the flatbread and guacamole/chips. The chicken Parmesan was spot on as well.. delivery was quick as well.

I've been coming here since 2009. I used to come in once a week (mostly for dinner). Services and food used to be great, but after 2019, the food quality has gone down, and the service went way down. Food quality used to be 5/5, now it's 3/5. Service used to be 5/5. Now it's 1/5. I still come here once a month to support the business, but it doesn't seem like service here will get any better any time soon.

Food quality has steadily declined at all of their locations over the past decade. Low quality ingredients, poorly executed, in a typical chain restaurant atmosphere. Spend your hard earned money at a locally owned restaurant. I know there’s not many of those left, but you can certainly find way better pizza, burgers, and beverages at a few local, independently owned & operated establishments in the Fremont and Newark area. BJs is all about cutting costs to the extreme and maximizing their profits at the expense of quality food and decent service. Not sure how long they can keep that up.

Our server Tom made our whole experience 10x better than the average visit to BJs! I've been coming to BJs for years and I've never had the experience of a server like Tom. He was extremely friendly, attentive, and a pleasure to have as our server! I appreciate his attention to detail and thinking of little things before we could even ask him! I'd come back just to have Tom as a server again.

Overall atmosphere is on par with a Red Robin. Great place for kids because it's so loud in there. More of a gathering place, super casual night out. Not a good option for a business dinner, especially if you have stuffier, more formal colleagues. Not enough tables in the bar area for a quick drink/night out.

Despite making a reservation for 12 people 2 days in advance, they were unable to give us a table for 12. They made us wait a 1/2 hr and then informed us that we will be getting 2 tables instead of 1. They didn't come for orders till another 1/2 hr. We requested quick orders for the small kids in our group, and they missed that too! Either you take bookings and hold tables for the reservations or just inform customers that we are not taking reservations!

Arrived early and was seated early. Staff was friendly and worked hard to keep things moving. We unfortunately had to wait a while for waitstaff to do first touch. Once drinks & food order taken, things went smoothly. Appetizer was great. Fish & chips and chicken sandwich were hot & tasty. Mahi Mahi tacos were fishy tasting. Took a while to get check, but online payment was fast. Overall good meal.

I had an awful experience at BJ’s recently. I placed a pick-up order, and when I arrived, it was clear the staff was more interested in chatting with each other than paying attention to their jobs. Unsurprisingly, part of my order was completely wrong. I had to track down a manager just to get it corrected, and that process was painfully slow. It took them an hour to remake ONE dish, which meant the rest of my food sat around and got cold—and ultimately, it was completely unenjoyable.
It’s ridiculous to see such poor customer service and lack of urgency. The staff’s focus should be on the customers, not their conversations. This was one of the worst dining experiences I’ve had, and I won’t be coming back.
