I love the food here. The food are really flavorful. My favorites are the chicken bones, pig ears and the bean curd noodles (I don't know the Chinese names). It's located in a plaza so there are plenty of parking. Go support local businesses!
From the first moment you come to that place team give you a good feeling. Very friendly stuff, it is a good restaurant to enjoy with buddies or with your date. tasty cuisine, specialist chef, reasonable pay and nice service. Highly recommended.
The food was good. But the person who works here has the worst attitude I’ve seen.
Used to go there once a week before this pandemic. And decided to give a try recently. But whoever works there now, your attitude is the worst I’ve ever seen. I guess this is the only restaurant doesn’t want business during COVID. Hope you guys can shut down soon :)
Yummy food and great customer service. I got a spicy bowl and it's great that they can give you the soup on the side. Plus they have a great selection of things you can choose to customize your bowl. Will definitely return.
They don’t wear masks while handling your food. Not to mention that they got my order wrong by adding ingredients that are against my dietary restrictions, and refused to admit their mistake. I don’t think they appreciate their customers. Overall a very bad experience.
Was introduced to this to this spot via take out at a friend's house and it's pretty good. You could have the mala-bowl ("dry") or the mala-tang (soup). Mild is the best with good kick in the flavor especially if you can't hang with spicy food like me. Original is a bit bland but you could always spice it up to your liking. With the mild spicy level, I feel like my tongue gets a little numb and tingly. Then water tastes a little funky, but I chill for a bit and then continue to eat s'mores. There is a minimum amount items of items you must add to each individual bowl, which is FOUR. You could also double up on some items too if you like. For me, I order the mala-bowl with fish balls with roe, napa cabbage and doubled up on the fishcakes! To maximize our bowls, my boyfriend and I add our own ramen/udon/vermicelli at home. Worth the drive for us because we can't get it all the time.
I like the flavor of the food, but they like to add things that you didn’t order to your list, make sure you ask the receipt when you’re paying. Really disappointed for what they did to trick the customer and never gonna come back again.
My go-to place for lunch/dinner!
Come here for the thick soup base and the chili oil

Top Mala in the bay! Try it out if you're a fan. Yummmmmmmmm. Ordered hungry and left satisfied :)
Fast service. Good place for Malatang.
Solid place. The soup based bowl choice is definitely superior than the dried malatang. Malatang ends up being a bit too salty without the soup broth. And it's all about the bone broth! Very savory and delicious with the mala (peppercorn) after taste. Service is pretty quick once you check all of the ingredients. One downside: this place is tiny with limited seating. Just hoping it won't be crazy busy once it becomes more established.
This spot is worth trying. They have large portions for convenient prices. Consistently well organized and with fantastic atmosphere. Will visit here again.
Taste of soup is okay.
