I used to drive a long way to this restaurant for the food, but I’m disappointed today, will never come back again. The owner is quite arrogant, he yelled at people working for him, making the atmosphere awkward and unpleasant. I just don’t feel comfortable.

I ordered the single-cook rice noodles (小锅米线) instead of Yunnan rice noodle's claim to fame, 过桥米线 (house special rice noodles). The rice noodle's texture tasted slightly different from my memory but still feels good. Flavor is closer to Sichuan than Yunnan where the shop is supposed to originate from. But that suites me well. The owner recommends the house special for my next visit. And my next visit will be very soon! (I am willing to give 5 stars even though I only had one dish that is not house special. I will update if the house special disappoints.)
Cloudland Rice Noodle has a small storefront, but is very visible in Cedar Center. I arrived shortly after 6pm on a weekend and got seated quickly. The owner says they had been here for 8 years although I felt that I had been in the mall more recently than that. Their interior decor is not elaborate, but very comfortable.

As a local Yunnanese, this place is quite authentic in my opinion. The small pot rice noodle is really good! Surprised to see such a low grade. I am sure will come back!

I grew up in Yunnan (lived in Kunming until age of 18). This is really AUTHENTIC (on the saltier side)! Its heartbreaking to see such law ratings. Every dish (except for the chicken wings) is a dish I've been missing from hometown! Please don't just stick to the safe stuff (crossing bridge noodles) and try other dishes! I only wish the atmosphere was better as the phone and someth ordering system kept ringing.
Food is great. Yunnan Cross Bridge Rice Noodles is the best.
Only downside is the price. Average $25 for rice noodles after tax and tip.

Best rice noodle in east bay. My family love to eat here or take out. Their soup is better than most chains of rice noodle in China. Btw, their noodle is gluten-free.
