Crossing-Bridge Rice Noodle (過橋米線)
The dish is served with a large bowl of hot broth and the soup's organic ingredients are separated into individual bowls. The other ingredients are served on two plates that include raw vegetables and lightly cooked meats. Common ingredients include Raw Quail eggs, Ham Slices, Pork Loin Slices, Tuna Fish Slices, Chicken Breast Slices, Bean Curd Sheet Strips, Chives, Sprouts, Asparagus and Rice Noodles. Once these ingredients are added to the broth, they cook quickly with a layer of schmaltz and oil glistening on the top of the bowl. The soup takes a few minutes to cook, after which it is then poured out by the spoonful into small bowls.

乳餅是雲南大理白族和路南撒尼人製作的一種奶酪。白語稱為yond bap，用牛奶或山羊奶製成（本店乳餅是牛奶製成）。白色塊狀，酷似豆腐塊。蘸白糖、椒鹽生吃或者下油鍋煎吃都很爽口。

Steaming-pot Chicken (汽鍋雞)
汽鍋雞是雲南名菜，因用建水出產的紫陶汽鍋蒸制而得名。製作方法：土雞配火腿醃好，放入汽鍋（因鍋有汽管而得名）。汽鍋置水鍋之上，水鍋沸騰，高溫高壓的蒸氣從汽管進入汽鍋，將雞肉燙熟，再凝結為濃香撲鼻的雞汁。雞汁宜配白飯，厭食小兒甚愛之……。 This dish gained its name from steaming the chicken in a pot with a hollow tube in the center. It is a simple tasty dish. To make it, place chicken, ginger, a shallot, pepper and salt in the pot and steam for about four hours, during which time steam from the tube contacts the cold pot cover turning to water, then flows back into the pot to become delicious chicken soup. Before serving, remove ginger and shallot.

I'm not exaggerating, but their cross-bridge rice noodle tastes even better than a lot of places in Yunnan, where the dish originates.
The owner (he's also the main chef I think) put so much effort into recreating the authentic flavor.
Let me give you an example. In Yunnan, the stem of a type of bulrush (建水草芽) is used in the broth. That of course is hard to find here, so they cleverly improvised and used asparagus instead, and it worked amazingly...

The rice noodles here are absolutely authentic and delicious—just like in Yunnan! The flavors are rich and comforting, and you can tell a lot of care goes into the cooking. The owner is very kind and welcoming, which makes the dining experience even better. Highly recommend this spot if you’re looking for genuine Yunnan rice noodles in the Bay Area!

This is a pretty good spot for Yunnan style food. It was my first time here and I decided to try the stewed pork ersi, which was very tasty, fresh, and well portioned. The spice level hit the spot just right and the noodles had a nice texture. The restaurant is pretty cozy with pleasant decor and also clean. One thing to note is that this place is cash only, so make sure to have some on you.
However, I will say I was quite taken aback by the waitress demanding a tip when...
