Food is tasty and not greasy which we appreciate. Portions are HUGE which is awesome. They still serve free soup as an appetizer which is a nice touch. Will be back - often.

We came for dinner to check this place that we've heard good things about. The food quality and portions were very good. The service was efficient and the atmosphere was fine. We would certainly come back.

Being at a stand alone building in a shopping certer, there was plenty of parking. The restaurant had plenty of tablrs for big and small groups. The service was efficient.

I would consider this a homestyle restaurant, where besides ordering a la carte you can get 3 dishes (from a separate list) for a set price ($35.99 at this review) with soup (dine-in only). Additional dishes after the 3 are $11.99 each. For this set-up your choices are numerous including such choices as fried flounder, various claypot dises, stir fried vegetables, meat dishes, and noodle dishes. White rice is $2 per order.

For 3 people we had the spicy green beans with ground pork, the seafood tofu claypot, and the taro root chicken claypot. The first that arrives after ordering is the soup. On this day, it is corn and egg flower soup. A nice and light soup to stimulate the appetite. The green beans came out next. Fresh from a very hot wok it had great flavor. It was hard to stop eating it once you start and it's especially good accompaniment with white rice. The claypots took a little bit longer, but worth the little bit of wait. Both had flavorful vegetables (cabbage, carrots, etc) on the bottom. The seafood one had big chunks of cod, shrimp, fish paste, and fried tofu. The taro chicken pot had big slices of chicken, taro, shitaki mushrooms. Both had deep flavor without being too salty.

We had enough leftovers for another meal. The atmosphere is casual and clearly they do a good take out business and many diners are repeat customers.

In-laws always order to go from this restaurant whenever we visit them. The food was tasty and not too oily. Portions were good for the prices as well. I wish we had more places like this back in Austin.

Your typical Chinese American budget mom and pop restaurant. They are pretty authentic and decent with this Cantonese cuisine with plenty of American Chinese only dishes. The price is unbeatable anywhere.

But what you will probably enjoy most about this place is the service. These older ladies may not have the best English, but they are the most friendly and attentive staff. No scripted greetings from diner staff. But genuine and caring conversation.

Many non-Asian customers here seem to be long time frequent customers. They brought their friends from out of town, they talked about their family members. It was enjoyable just to watch their interactions. This restaurant truly lives up to the name Good Neighbor. I am not exaggerating.

Parking: Huge parking lot with very nice shade for hot summer days.
