Came here at 9pm, plenty of seating. Kumquat green tea was super refreshing.
Great place to hang and chat.

Is the first time I visit Hay Tea, I love the coconut mango with purple rice, cashier was very welcoming however when I went to use the ladies room, it was really dirty. especially the mirror so hopefully they integrate some more hygiene.

Freezing cold inside ?
Food is good, but takes so long to make ?.
Also, the staff shouldn't handle money and food! If you do, change gloves! Saw him using same gloves to handle our food after getting cash from homeless guy ?

Like everything else, prices have gone WAY up.
It's almost $12.00 for just the popcorn chicken.
Be warned that the last time I was there, the prices online did not reflect the actual prices.
I also really hope that they fixed the problem with the phone number. I had to Google it to place an order. It was not correct.
The kids behind the counter can not be bothered to take an order or even acknowledge your presence when you walk in.

The drink tastes fine, but they all taste the same. Service was not recommended. I ordered in advance to pick up 3 boba tea. But when I got there after 45 mins, they still did not make my order. I have to sit in the lobby for another 20 mins to wait for it. Then what's the meaning and benefit of pick up on a designated time slot? They would rush the walk in order first and made my order after I repeatedly went to the counter to check. It's not the only milk tea in the area, so I probably would not go back since I don't have many 20 mins to waste.

Drinks and food here are decent, you get what you expect, but even for a tea shop the takoyaki was pretty bad tho. Literally just a single drop of sauce on each one. If it had more sauce I'd call it average.

they put a dish soap on my drink , first time drink was too sweet even I ordered 25% sweetened . So I told him too sweet he tried to just mix the tea with water .i told him make a new one for me . And dude made a tea but missing a passion fruit. And I told him where’s the passion fruit. He went right back open the tea put he’s finger in it and tries to move the whole tea so he can add passion fruit in it . I saw it and I told him I can’t drink that , you need to make a new one . You don’t even have a gloves in your hand and you put your finger in the drink try to give me just like that . He didn’t even apologize but he was trying to shoot me with okay okay okay . Then I offered him don’t want a drink give me a refund. He doesn’t seem to be okay with it . Here’s the drink . Made with dish soap. Costumer complains are real . You can’t just poison the costumer just because costumer complains. And you didn’t make a single thing right . I wanted my money back not a drink .
And to the owner : screw your tea . Screw your employees And screw your one ball missing egg puffs .

I ordered an avocado smoothie. It came with slivers of inedible fruit peel with it. Most likely avocado peel that wasn’t completely removed before blending. I won’t normally write reviews but this was $8 so I feel like this is unacceptable. Basically had to throw it away.

Uncooked food and service wasn't even up to standards. So went in tried to order food at the register they said register was closed witch it wasn't. Clearly didn't want you to order anything if that was the purpose why didn't you just refuse service from the beginning without all the biggottory.

I come here at least once a week to get Boba and sometimes food I just ordered for multiple people three popcorn chickens and a couple drinks after spending over $50 they wanted to charge me for a bag to carry everything out which I understand but I have literally no cash on me and they don’t allow me to use my card to pay for it because it’s too small of a purchase The people in front of me we’re buying drinks for their kids try to pay cash and at 3 PM on a Friday they didn’t have enough change to give them so they made them pay with a card. Honestly, this place has gone downhill and it says it’s a grand opening. Don’t go here. It’s frustrating to be here. They’re always running out of stuff. I had to change my drink three times .

We have been waiting for about 50 minutes for our order. There is only one person making the teas and taking orders. You need more workers.
