I thought the food and value was excellent. Wish they were on Uber Eats cuz it’s a pain to get to them.

Chicken teriyaki with chowmein is good. Fried rice is some time too old. One of two remaining food stalls left at the mall.

they refused to give me chow mein saying they were giving it all to my friend who ordered first, then proceeded to clear out the tray and throw away a good portion

The food hasn't changed. It's still good but the menu has definitely dwindled down to hardly anything in this dead mall.

I ordered the Salmon dinner plate, but the cook gave me a teriyaki chicken. I didn't notice until I sat down, but I was too hungry to argue. The food wasn't bad, but it's unfortunate they can't cook with the right ingredient

The beef teriyaki with rice and steamed veggies is the only reason I go to this mall. It's a simple yet yummy and filling meal. I love how the mushrooms are cooked and seasoned. Actually, I wanted to give five stars but I knew my praised partially derive from nostalgia so it's probably not THAT good to others, but it's definitely good and reliable. I really hope it can survive in spite of Newpark's inevitable decline.

LOCATED IN NEWPARK MALL FOOD COURT This place. Seasons change. Stores open and close. Quarantines happen. But HIBACHI IS STILL ALIVE! I have been coming here for literally over 10 years. In new park mall, it's a go-to and a must. This chicken and steak plate with half chow mein half fried rice and complimentary steamed veggies is $8.75. HOW? No inflation impact here somehow. I genuinely do think they should raise their prices... and it's not often I think that about restaurant. I'd get it for at least $12-$14. It's such a good deal and as always, tastes amazing. There's always a line just for hibachi. Arguably, hibachi is keeping new park mall alive, if not at least the food court. Any time I'm back in new park mall... I'll be back!

Just told me they are closed. It's 4:41p. I ask what time do you close. She smiles and says 5p. (So why can't you serve me food???) I ask what time does the mall close, she smiles and says "I don't know". What a joke!

Today I decided to give it another try so I came by around noon & there's was a huge improvement. Oscar was working, & the lady that had an attitude last time we went was not working. I ordered 3 plates of Steak & Chicken for me & my family. Oscar makes the best Hibachi & his portions are excellent! Give this man a raise, he deserves it for his hard work & efforts! Thank you Oscar!

This is a franchise of Panda Express, that's the reason for the similarities. I like the chicken with rice and veggies. I bring my own Sriracha sauce for dipping. Really good taste.

Above average. Not great but pretty good. Pretty much what you would expect from a restaurant owned by Panda Express.
