Found Hinodeya off Yelp.
Yelp check in to be seated. A bit unorganized. Order through phone.
Two of us ordered:
hinodeya house ramen $16
chicken karaage $10
asahi super dry draft $10
kyoto white yuzu $11
hamaguri ramen clam $20
I believe their regular ramen noodle is a wheat noodle which threw me off.
Pricier side on food and drinks. Not a whole lot stood out.
Parking is limited in the lot, so might need to do street parking.
Very solid. Fits my taste, as good as I expect in taste presentation and quality as I would expect for a slightly higher end ramen spot.

From the street view you would never guess this cozy ramen spot was hiding back here. I’m so glad we have a Hinodeya in this side of the bay! The interior is so welcoming and nicely arranged. You order from your phone at your table, and the food comes out hot and fast.
I was pleasantly by the number of vegan options on the menu! The yuzu ramen was refreshing and so good. I would also recommend some soft serve if you’re craving a sweet treat. I would definitely come back here to try more.

Visited on a Wednesday afternoon after multiple people told us about Hinodeya and I can't recommended it enough if you're vegetarian or vegan. We ordered the creamy vegan ramen and the summer special (cold) vegan ramen and both of them were incredible.
The creamy vegan ramen is a bit different from the usual shoyu broth and their ratio of veggies to broth was perfect. Special shout-out to the crispy kale - inspired choice :) Ordered this to spice level four (they provide you an equivalent number of red chillies instead of the chili oil or powder) and it was a good level for me.
The cold ramen was just what we needed on a hot late summer afternoon - great balance of flavours with the sweet fried tofu (inari?) hewing closer to a traditional ramen, felt more familiar. Got this in spice level three.
We also got the bamboo shoots in chili oil and they were delicious.
The ambiance is that of an old school ramen house but with a twist that you order by QR (decidedly not old school) and the service was quick and efficient.
Can't wait to tell everyone else about this place!

This place automatically charges 15% tip on to go orders. I didn't notice until after I left. I contacted them about it and they refused to refund me to the tip

Parking: navigate to the 711 lot, Google Maps brought me to the Taco Bell lot - the two lots are not connected.
You can’t order their tonkatsu ramen without a pork cutlet included - totaling $28 for the bowl which is pricey. Flavor was fine, on the lighter side for tonkatsu broths. Cutlet was cooked well, but got soggy because they put it directly in the broth.
Very little human interaction. You order and pay from a QR code.
I appreciate their vegetarian and vegan options, but overall, there’s better ramen in the Bay.

I've tried Hinodeya at a different location before but wasn't impressed. Looks like this location is new. I ordered the creamy vegan ramen again but adjusted the spice to level 1 and added fried garlic, and I changed it to wheat noodles. Game changer. The ramen was delicious! (One suggestion: like another reviewer mentioned, the sweet tofu doesn't pair well with the savory broth ... Plain or soy sauce marinated tofu would be better.)

The soup is fresh, not oily at all. However, the noodles I got were in pieces….

Ordered the Spicy miso ramen, House ramen, gyoza and karage chicken. Both the ramen were pretty good. Spice level is adjustable. Service was quite quick too. The only minor complaint was the wait time was 45 mins though it initially showed 15-20 mins. Would give 4.5 stars overall.

Randomly passed by one day and added it to our places to eat list! The other day my husband and I were out and we found that this locations was closest to where we were. Omgggg I’m sooo happy we stopped in. The food was soooo amazing. It is now 1 of my top ramen places in the city. Very cute date night spot for sure.
