I do not usually prefer i-Tea, but my friends love it especially after Tasty Pot. Like most other i-Tea locations, this place can get packed in the evenings. This location seems a bit slower compared to San Leandro or even Castro Valley. Although I do not prefer their drinks, their food such as their noodles are pretty good.

I can't believe this place is closed!!! I've been their customer for years and really believe this was the best iTea in the Bay Area. Sadly the pandemic had a negative effect on its business. I wish they will open again somewhere else because I really loved their boba drink please come back some day!!!

This is our go-to boba spot in Newark! They've mastered the online to go order process during the covid pandemic, and this is exactly the kind of ordering a busy mom on the go needs. Their drinks and food offerings are diverse and all delicious. Must have items on their food menu are their popcorn chicken (I think the best in the Bay Area), mozzarella sticks, fried tofu, and croquettes - all 5/5 in my book! As far as drinks go, definitely try their signature milk tea, fruit teas, and rose milk tea. To order ahead and save oodles of time, visit their website at:

Terrible customer service and incompetent staff. Last time I am giving iTea in Newark any business. I ordered one drink and three parties who ordered after me all got their orders before I did. One of them even had multiple drinks in their order. When I complained their excuse was "we're short staffed". Yet I counted at least 9 people working and they weren't even that busy.

They didn't close the cap tight and the milk tea spilled all over popcorn chicken. I complained and went to pick up the new popcorn chicken. My kids ate some and told me it tasted different. I tried and it tasted old and spoiled. I hope they don't get sick from it.

The milk tea at the shop is alright but it takes way tooo long
Waited 40 mins for my 2 drinks and calamari order today. It took so long, my calamari was cold when I got it. Not sure what's going on here but my last 2 times it's taken 30-40 mins which is a bit too long to get your food/drinks at a non-sit down establishment. I do like the drinks and their calamari is delicious, but they need to figure out how to pump out the food/drinks faster.

Cashier was slow rude and incompetent. Was the third person waiting in line and should have known it was going to be bad when the two in front of me left the line as the cashier was more worried about an order on the phone instead of the line in front of her face. Been coming here awhile but will be my last time. After waiting and waiting she finally looked at me and asked me the following question have you placed your order. Let me think I've been waiting in line and was starting to say I would like and then she said we are really busy and it will take at least 30 minutes. I said to make a boba for real. She could have said of number of things but instead it was it's going to be awhile. This place use to be good and service ok but now it's a joke. If you want to wait 30 mins and be treated like garbage come here. There are too many places where you can a good drink

2 stars coz of the best tea they have, everything else is awful. The location is awful. This is right next to a smoking or vaping kind of place. Like literally next door. Service- too loud and they make you go in through one door, order, leave the place and go back door to pick up your order. One good thing is, there is customization possible. Ambience- cheap looking. The whole place is lined up with boxes and whatnot. The other itea places are cuter, like the one in Centerville/Fremont Blvd. Price- the same as other places Choices- LOTS! And it's great. That's the only reason this place gets any stars. I'll probably go to the other itea place. This one definitely needs a revamp.

The drinks are good but the service isn't. It's super disorganized and they never seem to answer the phone. I've called on many separate occasions and despite being open, they never answer. It takes a while to get your drink, but nevertheless they taste good. Most recently I got the Strawberry Delight, which is a seasonal drink, and it was really good. I wish I put a lower sugar level though since it tends to be really sweet. The prices are pretty high for average boba though so that's another downside.

*2.5 STARS* Customer service- it was just okay no welcome or greeting it was just "order and leave" atmosphere especially since the dining area was shut down Drinks- jasmine milk tea with boba, thai tea with boba, rose green tea with boba and crystal boba *jasmine- decent, very classic milk tea that's very hard to make incorrectly, boba was made well (: *rose- good strong tea flavor and the crystal boba and normal boba was made very well, good texture! *Thai tea- another classic you can never go wrong with, it was made like any other with good milk to Thai tea ratio Inside- it was really really really dirty inside, I doubt that they wipe down the cc machine after each use because so many things were smudgy like the plexi glass enclosure to keep them separated from us and the counter area to pay was just straight up brown and black from dirt 0/5 for cleanliness which makes me rethink how the kitchen/ drink prep area is cleaned Waiting- the wait was not the longest but it definitely was not fast we were the only ones waiting but we did have to wait for 10 minutes, the worst part is they have you wait outside on the sidewalk area to pick up your drinks and the sidewalk/pick up table is next to the dumpster so it smelled SUPER bad and it just wasn't pleasant esp when you are there waiting for food it was a hard pass kind of experience Overall, I'd rather not come back it wasn't the worst experience but I don't like it enough to go out of my way for mediocre tea and smelly dumpster
