I came here and expected to enjoy nigiri and then was told they were completely removed from the menu! Man I was not happy…So only come for quick bites…
I walked in to try some of their enticing sushi rolls, and I left fulfilled both physically and mentally. From the moment I walked in, the waiter treated me like royalty, serving me ice cold water and catered to my every request. The food arrived much earlier than expected. The generous bowl of miso soup woke up my senses. The cherry blossom roll was a delicate balance between savory and tangy, with a hint of refreshing fruit essence. The spicy dragon roll landed a devastating fiery blow upon landing. Luckily I had some green tea ice cream to put out the flames. The intensity of the flavors left me paralyzed for quite sometime From now on, this will be my go to for Japanese fine dining experience. Couldn't ask for more.
Food was great, service took long though and no one was there. They were not busy. I didn't understand the wait.
Did not expect this much quality at all. One of the best places I will go even if I don't crave for sushi.
Food is great. Service is extraordinary!! Will definitely come back.
Very good fresh Sushi ? ? great taste and friendly service❣️?
Unexplainable sketchy vibe to this place but food was pretty good lmao
Rolls are tiny... two times smaller than a place across the street.
I ordered four rolls for pick up using DoorDash and I would say my order was on time.Unfortunately I am not a huge fan of the food - the fish did not taste as fresh as other East bay sushi restaurants and the flavor combos are just OK. They put four rolls into one container to give perspective on size and presentation.
good vibe spot to hang an eat an chill
Restaurantji Recommends
Contrary to what the name was intending to suggest, there’s absolutely no miracle going on. The cook obviously has no pride nor the basic techniques in sushi; the Shari rice was a nightmare — cheap, soggy and overcooked rice literally splits and sticks together when picked up. Even if you pay a lot, you still won’t get even a single fresh piece of protein of decent quality. Seasoning is miraculously horrible —simple salt & msg solution, plus some frivolous, uneducated and plain wrong, irritating things like chili pepper/torch. The one star was for the water I got: tasteless and clean, and it was the best thing I had. Will not recommend if you want some actual sushi.
Great food, great service! Such a wonderful restaurant all around!
Great staff. Superb food.
Delicious chirashi don. Good portion sizes. Tables were spaced apart, server was friendly. Alcohol/sake list looked tempting.
Went there cos good reviews. Far from tasty. ordered Joshi & ukiyo. Sorry to say but both are not good. Don't know if it's just this order. But won't try again.
