Sadly they changed their menu which was pretty good I don't have time to give them a chance to go back to what I liked about them. The use to have a great bento option now it's the saddest thing you ever saw.

Although the store looked clean when we went, restaurant hygiene itself is questionable... we found a cockroach in between our plates. The waiters apologized for their negligence but I still won't go back.

I came here and expected to enjoy nigiri and then was told they were completely removed from the menu! Man I was not happy…So only come for quick bites…

Ownership changed again along with the menu. Sushi rolls and sashimi were solid though it took 50 minutes to get the sashimi. Definitely come here if you are not crunched for time and don't mind walking up to the front to ask for service. There's only one server to manage ~10 tables, all online orders and the phone.

Had been coming here frequently for the last few months but today, was handed a menu with maybe 20% of what they used to have. Needless to say, I left

5TH FRIDAY OF LENT: LAST RESORT FOR DINNER Most addicts are feening for something knowing they can't have it. Well for Catholics the "addiction" is eating meat (primary beef, pork, and poultry) on Fridays during Lent. During those days Catholics could eat fish but not meat. On the 5th Friday of Lent I already had fish for lunch. For dinner I was hungry. I thought about just getting dessert that night, but I felt dessert wouldn't diminish my hunger enough that evening. As a last resort I choose this eatery for dinner based on one dish - sake donuri, which is salmon over rice. I felt this type of rice bowl would satisfy my hunger during dinner. I placed a pick up order of the sake donburi. Fearing that dish might not be enough for me to become full I also ordered the mixed tempura as an appetizer. The mixed tempura was a nice start to quelch my hunger for meat. Despite the vegetables were packaged in a plastic container the mixed tempura was still slightly crunchy. The sake donburi on the other hand was puzzling. The salmon over steamed rice should sound enticing. The salmon was moist but lacked flavor. For the amount I paid for this dish, which was about over $20, I was disappointed. If I ordered another dish besides the sake donburi I would probably rate Kiseki Sushi one more star, but the crux of my review is based on that one dish. As my title of my review suggests this place was my last minute choice for dinner. Unfortunately the dish I ordered from Kiseki Sushi - sake donuri - fell flat.

$18.77 for this much of chicken breast and NO RICE. A piece of chicken breast for $18.77. WTF?!!! (I ordered chicken teriyaki dinner after 10.75% tax is $18.77.) Not worth it. Won't go again.

New management? Service and quality if food have changed along with the menu. I placed an order for pick up one day ahead for mothers day. The woman who picked up the phone Friday evening took my 10 roll order and said it would be ready to pick up at 5:30pm next day, Mothers Day. Came to pick up, found out it was closed. Why would you take my order for pickup when business is closed?? Ruined our mothers day dinner and had to order elsewhere. Also seen several other families outside disappointed about this!

Large portions for a decent price. We got: 1) chicken katsu : fresh out of the kitchen- crispy and hot! 2) miso soup : liked the strong paste flavor 3) lion king : not as much mayonnaise as other places, instead they use more of this sweet teriyaki sauce (a little bit too much in my opinion though, it drowned out the entire sushi roll) 4) tea: didn't taste like anything as it was too diluted Service, however, is mediocre. We were greeted by a sushi chef behind his station ; yelling from across to room telling us to have a seat anywhere instead of a waitress. After taking our order and delivering our dishes, no one came to check on us ie refill water or tea, take away dirty dishes, ask if we needed anything. There were maybe 3 tables including ours in the entire restaurant. We also had to flag someone down specially to get a to go box and the bill.

Came here last Thursday 04/28/22 before 7pm and was seated right away. The service was fine however, our waitress forgot some of our orders. I ordered the Three Item Bento Box with Salmon Teriyaki which tasted ok, Vegetable Tempura which was great and was pleasantly surprised to have asparagus and lastly Chicken Katsu which seemed kind of hard & over cooked, also the sauce was not to my liking. The miso soup was good. The dressing on the salad was too much. We also ordered Shiro Maguro which is White Tuna and this tasted quite good. Another item we got was the 1st Ave Sushi Roll which tasted great. It is unfortunate that this place is not all you can eat anymore.

4 stars only for the sushi rolls. For a Sunday it wasn't at busy at all, so you'd think that your table is at least getting some attention - but for us, not so much (which is why I couldn't give 5 stars) However, the sushi rolls we ordered so pretty good. I would come back again and try other rolls.

The restaurant is off of Jarvis in Newark, same side as Ranch 99. Lots of space to social distance inside the restaurant. The staff are welcoming and friendly. The service is a little on the slow side but they take their time preparing your order to make sure you get the wow factor. Not only the food looks amazing, the quality of their sashimi are insanely fresh. This is defintely one of the few restaurants to visit that I highly recommend in Newark. Love their Sake Donburi bowl.... you should try it.

We came in on a Saturday evening and was greeted with friendly staff. Crazy horse roll - great combination of fresh tuna and hamachi. Smaller than expected. Special nigiri dinner - very little rice with nigiri, fish is fresh albeit a bit tasteless with no texture. All together, potions sizes are small. Fish seemed fresh but without any texture or flavor

I walked in to try some of their enticing sushi rolls, and I left fulfilled both physically and mentally. From the moment I walked in, the waiter treated me like royalty, serving me ice cold water and catered to my every request. The food arrived much earlier than expected. The generous bowl of miso soup woke up my senses. The cherry blossom roll was a delicate balance between savory and tangy, with a hint of refreshing fruit essence. The spicy dragon roll landed a devastating fiery blow upon landing. Luckily I had some green tea ice cream to put out the flames. The intensity of the flavors left me paralyzed for quite sometime From now on, this will be my go to for Japanese fine dining experience. Couldn't ask for more.

My husband and I came here this evening for dinner. We were seated right away. We ordered the big spider roll and crunchy spicy tuna roll. Both rolls were excellent as well as the edamame. I will definitely come back here soon!
