Doesn’t suit my taste. Tried all their drinks. Matcha is a little luminescent looking and a bit puckery. Coffee is not as delicious as phin cafe. Always lots of kids, too, probably from the hs near there.
best strawberry matcha ever.

Muoi muoi Coffee(5/5): yummy creamy coffee. They were able to make it less sweet which was great.
Pandan Matcha (5/5): good flavor.
The space is not too big so you may need to wait a bit for a table and avoid large groups.

We ordered a pandan matcha with zero sweetness, but it was still super sweet. I could barely taste any matcha—just sugar.
When I went up to them, they were rude and said they couldn’t do anything about it. I explained that I couldn’t drink something that sweet, and they told me I’d have to pay an extra $2 to fix it and add more matcha.
I’ve been to so many cafés before, and this was my first time here. I’ve never experienced such uncooperative staff.

Cafe with a clean aesthetic and intriguing variety of drinks. Vibe was quiet and chill – good place to catch up with friends or get work done, and lots of tables to sit at. I wanted to try a few different drinks because they offer Thai tea lattes, Hojicha lattes, matcha lattes, viet coffee, and their seasonal flavors like maple cream matcha! Drinks are average priced around $7.50 and drinks are recommended at 50% sugar.
I went with their L.A.C (leaf and coffee) drink which was a Jasmine matcha mixed with Vietnamese coffee. I enjoyed the different tastes from the L.A.C – you can taste the floral notes from the jasmine, the grassiness from the matcha, and the bitterness from the coffee. The coffee was more on the bitter side and I was conservative with sugar level, but I would try 75% sweetness next time.
Their Thai tea house cream latte comes with their traditional Thai tea with house cream layered on top. The house cream is a fluffy cream with a subtle sweetness to it but different from salted cream at other boba stores. I wished I got the drink at 75% or 100% sweetness because the Thai tea flavor seemed muddled and didn’t have the impact I was looking for.
If I’m in the area, I would definitely come back to try other drinks, especially their House cream matcha latte which is the most popular!

Please bring back the matcha soft serve! That’s a big differentiator for you guys!
Even during a power outage, these employees brought exceptional service and drinks. You have to try the pandan matcha! Plenty of seating inside, and a code bathroom for customers. Great place to get some work done and chill :)

found it through Google reviews! LAC Coffee (short for Leaf and Coffee) is truly a hidden gem and should be a top priority for any coffee or matcha enthusiast in Fremont. Forget the usual chains—this is where you find unique quality and flavor.
The first thing you notice is the dedication to high-quality ingredients. Their matcha is absolutely excellent—smooth, vibrant, and perfectly prepared, avoiding that chalkiness you find elsewhere. It's the ideal spot for a ceremonial grade matcha pick-me-up.
But the real star of the show, and my absolute favorite, is the Pandan Coffee. This drink is a masterful fusion of rich, traditional Vietnamese Phin-dripped coffee and the delicate, aromatic sweetness of pandan. It's perfectly balanced, creamy, and unlike anything else you can find in the neighborhood. It's a must-try signature beverage that showcases their creativity.
From their specialty coffee to their beautiful matcha series, everything here is crafted with care. If you're looking for great service and drinks that stand out, do yourself a favor and find this spot. Don't wait for a review to tell you—go discover this gem!

I got the pandan coffee (left) and my girlfriend got their jasmine LAC (right).
Both were good, but my preference is the pandan coffee because I don’t like jasmine as much.
The pandan has a strong coffee taste that takes control of the drink (good thing for me since I like it), but you are still able to taste the sweetness of the pandan.
The jasmine LAC has a strong jasmine aftertaste where, near the end of your sip, you begin to feel a floral aftertaste.
Both drinks taste great and have their target audiences.

I stopped by LAC every morning during my business trip to Newark, and it quickly became my favorite spot to start the day. The shop is conveniently located just a block from my hotel, which made it super easy to swing by before meetings. Their matcha is excellent bright green, smooth, and full of flavor. The staff was always friendly and accommodating, which made the experience even better. This will definitely be my go-to spot for matcha drinks on my next trip to Newark!

The coffee is very strong and that is expected since it’s Vietnamese coffee! The matcha cloud (coconut water and matcha cream top) is so delicious! I get it every time and it’s very refreshing. This place used to be a quiet gem but it’s gained a lot of popularity so get there early for a seat!
