Definitely the best hot pot in the Bay Area, hands down, and I’ve been to a lot of them. Note that there are 2 kinds of spicy soup base, and the regular one is better and more fragrant than the “Chongqing special” one. Within the regular one, just getting the mild spicy (the lowest level of spicy) is enough for most people. Otherwise it’s too spicy.
We drive 50 mins each way from SF and it’s totally worth it. The spicy pot is soooooo flavorful and rich; I think about it for days every time after my visit. Definitely get the super thin tofu skin, it’s heavenly if you dip it in the spicy pot.

Authentic sichuan style hotpot. But the atmosphere is not great. The noise level is above 80 dB (measured by my Apple Watch), and peaks at 95dB when staff launch dirty dishes into carts. My ears hurt after eating here. I do not recommend this place
