The food and service are always on point. Chile verde burrito is my usual go to, but everything here is good.

Welcoming environment that reminds me of the various businesses of family friends that I got to grow up in.People often feel like they can't go to certain places because they're from a different background. It isn't like that here. You don't have to be Latin to come to this predominantly Latin part of town and enjoy the great food. As long as you're polite, they're going to dish you up a whole lot of love on a plate, or bag it to go for you. If you don't know what something is or how to say it, ask them.Come give them some love!

I’m surprised by the good ratings based on my experience. I got the asada burrito. It was one of the most bland burrito I’ve ever gotten. There was unmelted cheese inside. The burrito was almost room temperature with dry asada. I will not be coming back here.

I’ve gone to the Mexico Tortilla Factory forever!! They never disappoint. Just went there yesterday to pickup a semi large order to take to Manteca. Everything I ordered was excellent! Carnitas very flavorful and moist, all else were the same, delicious. Came back today to get Carnitas, refries and rice. Gonna be very busy in the next few day so we will be“Taciando” for several days.

I ordered the chilaquiles because so many people have told me about them but from other places. First off i was not aware that they were spicy. It wasnt just alittle spicy. It was extremely. But i didnt want to waste my money so i ate them. Alittle while later i was feeling a little off, the next day i went to work and then all of a sudden i was sweating, feeling nauseated with pains in my stomach. Throwing up. I went to the ER and they told me that it was food poisoning. I will never eat at this place again.

The food was good but lacked spicing (maybe they thought we don't like spices). Wonderful and helpful staff. Very nice market. The meat Chicharróns are outstanding. Their chips are excellent.Very fascinating factory in back. I was given a brief tour of the factory while proceeding to the wash room. The washroom was the cleanest washroom I have ever experienced outside our home!!!!Parking is a little challenging. If you park on the street, the cars are zipping by very fast and you have to watch out to not open up your car door and be hit by a car.Parking: Watch out when you open your door, cars a zipping by very fast and very close. There is a little street just before the restaurant, do not take it, you can't park on this street and getting back onto the main street is very hard because of the fast traffic.

About 12 years ago I used to buy unprepared masa (no lard or salt) for tamales here. It was one of the few places where you could find quality tamal masa, freshly ground, that you could mix with lard and broth and salt to your liking. Last time I went I ended up throwing away the masa. It was so YELLOW and had such a strong taste of Cal. Clearly, they hadn't rinsed the nixtamalized corn. As it's become so difficult to find quality fresh ground tamal masa in stores, I've begun nixtamalizing corn and making the masa myself - not a difficult process. The results are way superior to store bought masa. I saw this place mentioned on 'Check Please Bay Area' today. They talked it up. However, I stopped going to this place cuz the quality was no longer there.

We made tamales with the masa I bought. Best tamales yet.
