Goomba (Mr. Pickles' answer to Jersey Mike's #13, a classical sub with ham, salami, etc) was an eye-popping $14 and merely okay. The sourdough roll was tough, veggies were minimal, its assembly was lopsided, and it generally lacked the "yum" factor a good sub should elicit. For chain subs, I'd rank it above Togo's but well below Jersey Mike's. Also, the only gluten-free option is a wrap, so Jersey Mike wins that point too.

Nice small place in the neighborhood for sandwiches! Kickin Chicken sandwich was really tasty. The dutch bread had crusty exterior but was one soft loaf. The pickles were tangy sweet and both sour. Service was quick. Not much seating available inside.Vegetarian options: Few vegetarian sandwiches on the menu

I usually get the same sandwich. "Got Beef" on Dutch Crunch. This time I changed the cheese to provolone. The service is alway great.

I love Mr Pickles sandwiches. I’ll have to say one of the better sandwich shop around here. Their Dutch crunch roll bread that they make in house is so good. If you haven’t tried it you should. I got those Baja cheesesteak sandwich. It has Roast Beef, Pepper Jack, Baja Sauce, Red Bell Peppers, Red Onion & Pepperoncini. I really like the freshness of this sandwich the pepper jack cheese goes well with the it and the Baja sauce kicks the flavor up a notch. Overall a really good sandwich, I’ll most definitely get it again.

Tips dont go to workers making your sandwich. I saw the owener pocket the cash tip I left on NYE. Its sad when an establishment do not value their employees especially the ones working on NYE.

Mr Pickle's sandwich shop is well priced and has the absolute best salad! I'm not entirely sure what it is, but I loved the salad and will definitely be back for another one soon. As for the sandwiches and the pickles, they're not as good as the Mr Pickles sandwich shop in San Mateo/RWC. The BLT there packs in the bacon and is extra crispy. The pickles there are also better and crisp. I don't think I would reorder sandwiches from this specific location. I'm not sure if they source pickles separately, but the pickles at this location were limp with a hard and tough exterior skin. If you're looking for a good salad, this is a great option!

These sandwiches are protein light. You pay 14 dollars and they give you little meat. God forbid you order something with bacon, you will get paper thin pair of slices. You pay 4 bucks for the extra protein and it feels like its barely there. No one should have to pay 18 to 20 bucks to have a mediocre sandwich. If you have to pay so much at least get a premium product. Go to Eric's deli or hell even Safeway makes better stuff at a lower price point. Just avoid thid place and safe your hard earned money.

Love this place. Solid variety of tasty sandwiches and their signature chocolate chip cookies.
