I have never been to India, but I have been to other parts of Asia. This location makes me feel like I am in one of those eateries in Asia. Nothing fancy, yet comfortable.

The photos of the different train stations in India are a nice touch.

I rate this restaurant for what it represents and not some outlandish dreams of grandeur of fine dining with waiters in tuxedos and gold tableware.

Mumbai Chowk is delicious home style cooking rich in flavors, colors, and smiles. The atmosphere is what I would expect from a family run restaurant in a small neighborhood of India, which is why I give the Atmosphere a 5-star rating.

While I have not tried every item on their menu, and I have eaten here multiple times, everything that I've eaten was delicious and fresh.

They have an assortment of naan, but hands down, they make THE best onion naan!!!

Bad experience overall.
The tandoori chicken leg piece was burnt, extremely dry, and completely tasteless. The tandoori fish was equally disappointing,
there were very few pieces, and it lacked any flavor. When we shared this feedback, the lady at the counter responded arrogantly with just “thanks for your feedback,” without any concern or effort to address the issue. Definitely not the quality or service we expected.

One of the most underrated restaurant. We’ve been there at least 50 times, and it has never disappointed us. Every dish is consistently on point and freshly made, which is something I can’t say about many other Indian restaurants in the area. The lunch special is an absolute delight, especially the dal, which tastes just like the one your mom would make at home. The staff is incredibly accommodating and always ensure your requests are met. Highly recommended!

Excessive use of food colors. Food is pretty decent though.

Did not disclose the automatic tip. Screen asks for more tip on top of it.

The chicken was chewy and dry in the Chicken tikka biryani. Chilly Chicken was too oily and very less chewy chicken.

Keep on Travelling

We mostly order Balti Paneer, Naan, Biryani and Indo chinese items. Their Balti Paneer taste and gravy has changed now. Noodles were also not like before.

Dabeli was fantastic. But the kolhapuri was terrible. Terribly few pieces of mutton for the price.

Bought some paneer tikka from here and the excessive use of food coloring was appalling to see. The red color did not leave my finger tips for a whole day. Tasty food but very poor quality
