If u come in a group be prepared to get over charged. Dnt call to reserve they will charge u an have u pay a deposit that u will nvr see in the end. Staff stands around not asking for refills wen its busy, jus looking. Food is not all good. Some foods look an taste accouple days old. Hardly any fresh food wen I come here. Disappointed, World Gourmet buffet is cheaper an better. If u ask me

Have you ever witnessed someone use the restroom and walk out without washing their hands? I have, at this place. Haven’t gone back since. If you value your health consider a more sanitary establishment.

It's expensive vs other buffets. 1 person no soda. Just to eat it's $32. Super expensive.

Well...Here I was in Newark, and I needed 3 things..fuel for the truck, a Slide Track for my Peasly Hammerslacker, and some food. I fueled up at the Chevron, and after talking to the guy there it was decided that I'd never find the right Slide Track because my Hammerslacker is from the 1930's and I'd probably have to go to N. Dakota or maybe Wyoming to find one. The good news was that the dude flipped the switch on the Newark Buffet, and told me how great everything is, so I went there lickity split. He was right, the food was amazing! 5 ☆☆☆☆☆

DISGUSTING!!!! OLD AGED SPOILED ROTTEN FOOD!! Waste OF MONEY!!! Read all the negative reviews first. You'll see people getting sick after eating here! You will definitely taste that the food is not fresh and highly likely been REUSED for a few days. You'll also taste the foul odor of food being not cleanly made. You'll taste the bitter taste of rotten seafood, and possible Parasites in the sushi. If you have kids, they can easily get sick. Don't be surprised if you get food poisoning here as you could almost taste the poison in some of the items. Be prepared to possibly miss work for a few days after eating here.

Came here on a friday for dinner. This place was super packed, and people were waiting for tables.
Dispite the business, the staff come clear your plates everytime you get up for more.
The selection of food is pretty wide here, starting with the sushi, which they have octopus, tuna, salmon, and even snapper, BUT NO HAMACHI!!!. The sashimi were super fresh, the fish was sweet, and super tasty, that I had 3 plates of sushi, mostly nigiri, and sashimi.
My other favorite was the steam oyster, which also seem to be a popular item, and it always get clear out by everyone pretty fast. The steam oyster with gravy sauce was enjoyable, but the staff could do a better job at removing the broken shell, and the gravy sauce could use more salty note, may be some oyster sauce, or chicken bouillion would hit the spot.
The grilled/charboiled mix clam was also enjoyable. The cheesy sauce mussle was not bad, but also could use more salty note.
I wish they have raw oyster at the cold bar, but they did not. They did have snail, chicken feet, and octopus may be, all were enjoyable. The boiled shrimp look low quality so I didn't tried it.
The crawfish have a good cajun spice, but the crawfish texture, and flavor was no good, obviously frozen, and lost their bouncy texture and sweetness.
I tried almost all of the soup, they were all good, but my favorite was the deserve soup, taro with sago, it wasnt too sweet, and was quitew enjoyable.
They have beef rib, and kalbi too, but I didnt them.
Dinner was $35 after tax. Would definitly come back next time.

5 stars for the sheer variety. 3 stars for taste. 5 for price. 3 for noiseness. 5 for service. Overall 4 stars. If your priority is variety then a strong recommendation. If you prioritize taste, even if it pricier, then check around first. Maybe go to Tai Pan instead.
