The food was good. Service was good. It was kind of quite and slow in there, not to exciting.

Did not dine… waitress asked us to put down our name and wait outside as there were no tables available. We then noticed an empty booth and asked the waitress if we can take it . But she declined. Don’t understand why she did

One oyster has gone bad.I was very disappointed by her irritating manner of taking orders as I'm not fluent in English. The raw fish was tasty, but one oyster being spoiled spoiled my appetite.

My brother and I ordered rolls,Hamachi Kama, and Toro. All are fresh and big serving. The toro was so good my brother ordered it twice. Service is also great. Definitely worth the price. Highly recommend.

Friendly, attentive, but very informal service. Staff looking a bit unkempt wearing sweatpants and t-shirts. Small strip mall budget atmosphere. Sashimi boat was OK but included talapia sashimi which is odd and grossed me out a bit. Cooked rolls were better than the sushi. Overall not a bad place but if you want a traditional Japanese vibe and higher quality food I'd go somewhere else. If you're looking to impress I wouldn't take a date here.

O'Sushi in Newark has always held a special place in my heart when it comes to sushi delights. The range of flavors and the meticulous presentation always lure me in. Among their expansive menu, two rolls stand out for me: the Seattle Roll, packed with rich, cooked salmon complemented by creamy avocado, and the M&M roll. The latter, adorned with spicy mayo, adds that fiery touch that gives each bite an unforgettable zest. However, the experience goes beyond just the food. Like many others, I've faced challenges that deter me from a complete dine-in experience. The last time I decided to visit, I was met with the sad sight of homeless individuals seeking refuge near the entrance. Such a scene tugs at one's heartstrings, making one wish for better facilities and care for them in the city of Newark.Parking, another concern, often turns out to be a mini adventure. The limited spaces in their lot force me to park farther away, adding a bit of a walk to the experience. While the food remains unparalleled, I genuinely hope that Newark takes steps to improve the overall ambiance around businesses, ensuring comfort for all its residents and visitors.

Spent the evening visiting family in the Newark area. Was looking for a great sushi restaurant. We found one. The service at this restaurant was stellar. As soon as we sat down, the waiter was at our table talking with about our sushi preferences. Three different people checked on us during our dinner. We ended up eating two fried roles, one crab role and one tuna roll along with vegetable tempura and green tea. Definitely a go to place when we visit again. The authentic Japanese interior design also added positively to the experience. Thank you for providing us with a great and memorable experience.
