Lets start with the excellent service from one individual in specific. If he is there I assure your order will be meeting high standards. Secondly, this is the only Popeyes and fried chicken around with great quality. And the best Popeyes I have ever eaten at.
Ordered spicy crisp combo for $12.79 just now. I am the only one in the house at this moment. Cheese is not melted, (did they heat it?). Gave me ketchup only after I asked. So do ask whatever you want, or they won’t give to you.

It’s always something at this location. I strictly came in to purchase a sandwich and use my loyalty points. That’s my right as a loyal customer. Only to find out none of their SCANNERS worked so I couldn’t use my points or collect new reward points for my purchase today. And because I am on A short break I had to pay out of pocket for my purchase ALL BECAUSE THIS LOCATION DOESNT HAVE ANY WORKING SCANNERS TO SCAN MY PHONE. NEVER HEARD OF THIS ANY WHERE ELSE. And honestly don’t think I will ever come back to this location again.

Been coming here for as long as I can remember. The food is always hot and fresh. Came here during dinner time and saw their wings so I had to order. If you like their fried chicken texture, you’ll like their crunchy wings too. It was packed inside and at drive-thru. The staff are so busy and a couple of them are still in training. They still kept the food coming out very quickly and were very nice and friendly. The dine-in area is okay. We mostly just ordered the takeout only anyway.
I have lived in Newark for a few years now and this Popeyes is our go to for some good tasting fried chicken. I usually go thru the drive thru but recently went inside to order the Cajun turkey for Thanksgiving dinner. Will update the review when it’s cooked! I had their truffle chicken sandwich and it was the bomb!

Chicken is good. But just use the drive throughout or pick it up. This place has -1 for atmosphere. Most of the people dining in are the staff, noticeably trying to distract themselves with their phones probably because they rather be somewhere else.

This is the "Popeye's Louisiana Kitchen" at the Lido Faire Shopping Center in Newark, CA. I stopped here on a Sunday evening around 615pm to take a little break. While parked, I watched this very slow drive-thru line at Popeye's Chicken. Hmm, I wonder how long that line really is. So I drive to the other side, and happen to peek inside the lobby. The lobby only had two people at the counter. So I go inside and order:- 8-piece Spicy Chicken, All Dark, Chicken Only, Price $21.99The Manager was the cashier. I got my food in under 2-mins. Hot and crispy, delicious Popeye's chicken. So the next time you're at Popeye's @ Lido Faire, take a look at the lobby. If there's hardly anyone inside, go in and order at the counter. It's better than sitting in drive-thru for 10-15 mins.

We went and ordered chicken with gravy today. It is so disappointing that the gravy is watered down. I come here all the time because of the quality. I'm not sure if there was a change of ownership, but it looks like quality is on a downhill path. I hope this was an isolated incident. I may have to go to another place If quality does not change.
