It’s a small restaurant (more of a mom pop shop) run by uncle and aunty in their 70s with basic and minimal aesthetics. Undeniably the food was yummy, prepared fresh and very homely taste. However, Expect some delay when ordering food as the owners themselves prepare the food and even serve them. So keep patience when you go there. Here are some of the recommended items:Dahi puri- 10/10Aloo parantha - 10/10Thali- 9/10

Vegetarian options: They have amazing rare Indian vegetarian options like jackfruit and arvi. The food is just like homemade Indian food with it's simplicity. They use non-gmo oils in all their food. The service is good too.Dietary restrictions: They have good vegan and vegetarian options!Parking: Parking was easy.Kid-friendliness: Indian kids like homemade Indian food. Service was excellent.

The food I ordered (pani puri & dahi puri) was excellent -- the pani was one of the most flavorful that I've ever had. There were only a couple folks working, so It did take a bit to get the food. Ultimately worth it and would come back again to try some different things!

Home style North Indian food. Their chole is the best I've ever had. Kadi and paneer are really good too! Rotis are so fresh and tasty! And above all, the owner is honest!
Great food, very welcoming staff. Very home style vibe. We went on a decent time to eat dinner. The owner and his niece were running the show. The order was super delayed. But the taste of the food made up for it. The owner said his wife is traveling who runs the restaurant, which explains everything. The taste of the food is slightly different than your standard North Indian food, however, it is better - definitely a must try.

Their Dahi and Aloo Partha are a must try! My husband was reminded of his times back home.

I ordered Samosa chaat and paneer tikka thali. It had priced well and good portions. I'll go back again when I'm in Newark

Food is average at best. Fresh Mango lassi was the highlight. Pani puri, burger and kachori chaat was average at best. Hopefully they will improve on food taste. Kachori chaat should have some yogurt, sweet chutney and make it a little more appetizing. Pani puri presentation was good but taste was a little wonky

Poor order experience, was asked to "just read the menu" but they were out of many items. Was made to write the order, very odd. Limited menu, food was decent but too much chhole in everything. Lots of unclean tables, they are short on staff.
Our recent experience at this restaurant raised concerns about food safety due to issues with food freshness and food packaging integrity. We advise caution when considering dining here. The paneer sabji was not fresh, and the packaging was damaged, possibly from heat exposure, raising food safety concerns. Chole was good, but overall cleanliness and professionalism in the restaurant need attention

I like the friendly and homely nature of the owner. It is a small business place and we should support and encourage. The food is good based on the comments from the people while I was waiting to pick my order. I have ordered couple of chats to go but we will enjoy such items by eating in place.
