The food here is really authentic and quite delicious. The service might be a bit slow, but the taste is definitely worth the wait.

This restaurant is located right next to the famous Little Sichuan—healthy competition is always welcome. The interior feels newly renovated with a pleasant ambience, something I wish Little Sichuan would consider as well.
We ordered three dishes: Chongqing Spicy Chicken, Flavor Kitchen Cage Frog, and Dry-Baked Green Beans. Both the spicy chicken and the cage frog were quite good. The green beans were just okay; they were a bit stringy, and I’ve definitely had more tender versions elsewhere.
Be prepared to wait a bit for your food. It took about 15–20 minutes for our first dishes to arrive. This might actually be a good sign, since many Chinese restaurants rely heavily on pre-prepped ingredients—here it seems they cook more from scratch, which takes longer but tastes fresher.
Overall, we had a positive experience and will be adding this restaurant to our list for future visits.

Nice Sichuan restaurant in Newark. Dishes are not too spicy or too salty.

I ordered intestine bandit chicken, between excessive rumbling pepper, and chopped chicken bones soo little it hurt your mouth, I needed throw most of it to garbage.

Tasty but understaffed.
Waitress works hard but the place is extremely short staffed. Waited 30min for the first dish, then 20min for the second. Portion is relatively small for the price.

Definitely an authentic Chongqing restaurant. Do not order vegetables though, what we had is bland.

The dry braised whole fish is the best in the Bay Area. I drive from South Bay every week just for that. So authentic! 🙌
authentic chinese food, good service, clean and quick cooking turn-around.
food is really tasty, portion is large, and service is heart warming.
Reasonable price, worth trying some Sichuan food here.
Wei kitchen frog笼中蛙 is delicious, however the quality of the food is not stable, sometimes it is very good, but sometimes the meat quality is below average
