Nice place small bakery they make donuts and the senorita bread thats what I get, nice people just remember no mask no service here, they really enforce this. Its not wheelchair accessible thats the only draw back

Star bread isn’t what it used to be...I used to love the señorita bread. It used to be delicious and very affordable. But lately it’s been dry and bland. I’ve given it many chances lately but they’ve lost their touch. Again, it’s super dry now, and bland (flavorless). And on top of that they’re never open on time and they take forever to give you your order. They’re supposed to be open by 7am and I went today at 7:20 and the door was still locked. And on top of that I had to wait another 15 minutes to get my señorita bread. And all that for some dry bread with no flavor....never again...sorry.

diabetes inducing sweet ... Got the cinnamon starbread. It tasted corn syrup sweet . The sweetness could have been dialed down a bit. Completely ruins the taste of the fresh hot dough.

Not very professional staff. Music and carrying on in the back very loud and can be heard up front. Long waits, good thing that the senorita bread is hot and good.
Love this place they make the best bread, lived in Oakland and traveled to Newark for this bread, now live in Hayward...I'm getting closer

USE to be fantastic. Not no more. As time went by they started putting less butter and sugar to the point that the bread was dry. When I ordered I asked if there could add more on top and they said nope (in an oh, well, I don't care, manner). They said thats how it comes. When going there, I have been served by a very mature, nice, petite women. Slow due to age, but I have no problem with that. The one who replied as stated above was a younger full figured women. I noticed this person doesn't say hi when people walk in or say I'll be with you shortly (or anything of the sort) to people next. I would still frequent The Establishment if the food was good since it's a short time with staff but doesn't look like me since the quality has gone down.

Love this location has delicious senorita bread. Always a potlock favorite at my work. The quality is very consistent and staff is always friendly. They are usually very quick which is helpful since they do not take telephone orders.
