It took me four visits to the Cookie Plug in order to develop this review– each visit was as harrowing as the last, but the fourth drove me away. While the cookies were amazing, the ambience was what frightened me. Each time that I attended this humble cookie joint, there was different staff present, but one manager always present. The manager was an older man, with clear signs of aging on his face and hands. Each rotating staff member always had a monotone voice and seemed entirely unmotivated to interact with me or pursue sales (until my last visit to the Cookie Plug). My usual order is the Purple Haze cookie and the double cupped Purple Drank, which is almost always prepared in silence in the dimly lit store. The front right light in the store flickers at all times, and the back 3 bulbs are entirely burnt out. The signage never changes, regardless of what’s in stock or being made. On my final visit to the Cookie Plug, there was only the manager present. I’d never heard the voice of the manager before, as he always let the crew members speak to me. This time, however, it was solely him speaking. His voice seemed off and as if someone else was speaking from behind him. It took me a moment to place the voice, and as soon as I did, his voice changed tone–but to a voice I could still place. His voice began cycling through the last 3 sales associates I had interacted with in the store. I left shaken. I enjoyed my cookie, but did not like the eldritch horror present.

Kid-friendliness: Do not recommend. Eldritch horrors beyond comprehension.

This place is cringe. It's like walking into a hot topic back in 2010. The cookies are alright, the service was awful. I see the special for the day is buy 5 cookies plus 2 "drank", and get 3 cookies free. Fine, I can hand off the 2nd drink to someone when I get to where I'm going... Nope. I walked in solo, ordered 8 cookies and 2 drinks, what am I supposed to do with no lids? Nevermind the double styrofoam cups for each drink, it's just wasteful and silly. Spend half as much on cups, and buy lids!Even worse, I asked what I was supposed to do and the employee said I could get the drinks in bottles... ok baby bottles whatever, nope they charge extra for the bottles. Eventually I just say "fine, keep 1, I don't care I can at least drink the other before I get back to the car" well that didn't work out too well either. As I walk out with my double styrofoam cup purple lemonade(the only drink in the place) it's barely even cold(the water out of the kitchen sink around here would normally be colder). Plus, it tastes like cheap powdered lemonade mix with a weird aftertaste. Get in the car, take another sip, can't finish it so I just pour it out in the parking lot(can't drive around with that sloshing in the cupholder... seriously, no lids?). But now I've got 2 styrofoam cups to toss later, and wasted another 2 in the store because I couldn't take the 2nd drink(not that it would have mattered because the lemonade was awful). Also after only 2 sips, I was still tasting that awful lemonade 10 minutes later.Eventually I get to where I'm going, try half of a couple of cookies. The purple haze(red velvet) and smores cookies were ok, not amazing. If the service was at least decent, I'd consider going back. Not a chance. The lack of lids isn't the employee's fault, that's the owner. The weird double cup thing? Probably an owner decision? I don't know or care at this point.

Parking: large parking area available from the shopping center.

Wheelchair accessibility: Has a ramp from the parking lot, place has plenty of floorspace and isn't cluttered.

Came from out of town the boy working the counter Julian A . Was not so helpful said they sold out of cookies. Didn’t have very many to choose from which I didn’t understand when they had just opened at 12pm. I got there at 12:34pm how is it that they were sold out so fast. Very disappointing cookies are hard not soft like they usually are he did not give me fresh cookies….

Ordered on Door dash, but saw the site had a delivery option too. It took me time to figure out if these cookies were ok for kids and to find the ingredients. Website says these cookies are 100% kid friendly. The nutrition section on the website has the ingredients for each cookie. I wish finding this information was easier. We had the OG and nutty OG. Taste wise, they were just ok, nothing special. The OG was undercooked in my opinion. I had to put it in the oven again. I don't think these cookies are worth $5 each, even if they are large.

$5 per undercooked cookie. They're big, but not that big.Very sweet. Usually undercooked. After half dozen trips here just to try different flavors, I still haven't had a cookie that's been cooked all the way through. I guess some people prefer that? I do appreciate that the edges are chewy.Fancy boxes. Fancy decor - hellooo Yay Area Hip Hop?! (You'll understand when you walk in!) Big store for a bakery offering. Big selection of flavor options, some pretty unique too. But I still don't know if this makes up for the steep pricing. You can ask for your cookie to be warmed prior to paying. Who doesn't love a warm cookie? They have keto options. I haven't tried these.Bonus: Their app has daily deals which can make the pricing more palatable, with different bundles and offers.

Placed an order for a half sack (7 cookies). Order was confirmed and said they could fulfill. Arrived for pick up and the cookie shop did not hold 4 of the 7 cookies. They just didn't have them at all, not that they sold out. They didn't have so many of the other flavors that were showed online. I Couldn't get a refund or any type of compensation. I just had to fill the remaining cookies with random other cookies I didn't want. There should be an update that a shop cannot fulfill your order at all and stop customers from spending money for items they will not get. Update: Of the flavors I did get, White macadamia was a good cookie. The other flavors all seemed to have an after taste. Slight grainy texture as well.

Dark Tales

Rude, disrespectful owner. Treats women like objects. Insulting to customers. Called a customer dumb for asking a question about the ingredients. Makes fun of mask wearers. Don’t want this type of person in my community
