There is a serious shortage of manpower in the restaurant, and only two people are responsible for drying the floor, serving the bar, placing orders, serving food on the stage, and taking out takeaways. After placing the order for dine-in, I had to wait for a long time to get my food.

Came here for lunch with my wife and daughter. Once we came in they said we can take a sit where we’d like but after that no one came to attend us. After about 10 min. Had to raise my hand to get someone to attend us. And even then they attended another group first who had came in 10 min after us.Once we ordered we waited to receive our water. Which never came. Asked the same server again about the water and still nothing. My wife had to go to the front desk to go pick up our water. We asked for rice and it never came. We asked for a drink and received the wrong one. Just over all a bad service. The only good thing was that the food was delicious. Don’t think I’ll be coming back here.

If you look for typical Hong Kong style food, such as a variety of noodles, baked rice, congees etc, this is the place to be. It used to be reasonably priced but since pandemic, prices have gone up significantly. The problem is their service. One can wait long time just to get the menu, or may be wrong menu. Sometimes tea may arrive near the end of the meal.

HK style cafe. Nearby is another but I like this place better than fairwood cafe.

The quality of food is not as good as before, hope it is because they are still recovering from the pandemic and will back to the original quality soon.

Come here if you want to get a feel for late 70s vibe in HK for a typical HK cafe

Their Hainan chicken is the best in town! ?? Other food is okay. I like how hard working the waiter and waitresses are. They literally run around to serve you and are very efficient.

Traditional Hong Kong style cafe. Baked pork chop spigetti/rice to classic beef chow fun or instant noodle with egg and ham. It's all here. They also have happy hour between 2 or 230pm to 5 or 530pm somewhere around that time. Cant go wrong coming to eat here. Been a fan of this place for decades and it's a well known spot among locals.

Very disappointed. The food price has become very expensive and quality of the food and services both are reduced. I had a lot of memory of this place and feel very bad to see these changes.

There's a good reason why this restaurant is only 3 stars. The food portions are extremely small given the high price point. I ordered a seafood combo udon sizzling plate and what I was I was given was a plop of overcooked udon with tiny bits of squid and shrimp. It looks nothing like the pictures they have in the menu and on the walls of their cafe. They also charge for hot tea and their milk tea is also very bland without much tea flavor.
