Staying at the barn on Route 66 as a Harvest Hosts member was a great stop. Super chill spot with lots of classic Route 66 character and a really peaceful place to park for the night. The bartender were friendly and welcoming, which always makes a big difference after a long day of driving. And bonus points for the roadside bar—did not expect the pizza to be that good. Seriously excellent pizza for a bar, and such a fun surprise. Overall, a relaxed, unique, and memorable stay....
When we lived in Newberry Springs, The Barn was our favorite place to go for a great bar and better company! The owner was kind and became a friend, they all watched me go through my whole pregnancy and their burgers were something I craved somewhat often!
Whether they had an event going on, or it was just an average night, the atmosphere was chill, welcoming, and we knew it was a cool place to go for a few hours if we just wanted to get out of the house.
