The owner is one of the nicest owners I’ve met. He always goes above and beyond. The chile relleno burrito is always super tasty and recommended for anyone wanted to try something besides meat.

I really wanted to like this place when it opened up in my neighborhood. Food seemed decent BUT it had WAY too much cumin for my tastes. Cumin is one of those spices that you really need to be judicious with. I went back a second time to see if it was just a heavy hand with the spice that one day, but it wasn’t. If you really like a lot of cumin, then this is the place for you.

Ordered online yesterday morning to try a breakfast burrito and got to restaurant and it was closed. Called and called and called no answer. I left a message stating I placed an order. and if i could pick up later when open. I got no response. So today I call and he says no we were open and I made the burrito just straight lied to me. So I asked for refund and he left me on hold for 15 minutes and then hung up on me. Called and called again and no answer. The worse customer service. And he is a liar.

Ordered a Carne Asada burrito. It was big but full I mean full of beans and rice. Asada tasted like shredded beef.

We had lunch here yesterday. What a great mom-and-pop place! Ruperto is the sweetest man. I had tostadas and my husband had a wet burrito. Both were excellent. The tortilla chips were the best I’ve ever had. They were obviously homemade and they were crispy and maybe had just a hint of sweetness? Not sure but they were awesome. Salsa good, and Ruperto made sure we were happy and didn’t need anything. One ding for atmosphere: tv was on too loud. Place was clean, prices were ok but everything is so expensive now. Will go again.

Support local business! These are the kindest people and they make great, unfussy, authentic food. I forgot to take a pic, but I got the biggest burrito of my life lol. He also offered us chips while we waited. Just overall so thoughtful.
