Fun fact: Originally this place used to be Mama Rita's. It was visit by Gordon Ramsay 15 years ago. After he left, the owner reverted back to her own ways, abandoning Ramsay's menu. It closed in 2010. Since then (via Google) this location was pretty much vacated until it was put up for lease.

Been coming here since 2022, then it was sold and another owner called it “Gemma”? It was sold again and back to the great food and vibe. Ronaldo is exceptional at making his patrons comfortable and the staff is attentive. Great to hear the Local Table is back.

A hole in a wall kinda place that I tried and came back recently and had a couple of their menus and they both tasted awesome! What I like about this place is that it has a nice vibe (classy) and they’re fair priced. The staffs are kind, and food is great and quickly served! It’s the kind of place I recommend and I usually don’t have much to say about restaurants or type a review but I felt this place was worthy of getting more attention!

Great place to relax with small kids and enjoy good food. We went a month after they reopened and had a great time.

If you like rich pastas, I really enjoyed the pappa tort and their bruschetta was amazing.

Heads up that the current menus online are for the old restaurant (Gema) so be prepared to see different options when you arrive.

Went to the reinvented Local Table. Our food was delicious but the service was outstanding. Our group ate from fish to ravioli to branzino and all was amazing

Loved this place!! Great food at a very fair price!! Excellent staff. A real asset to Dos Vientos community and Newbury Park. So sorry to hear that they closed. Too bad the new restaurant changed the menu. Maybe they will reopen or another restaurant will open and have a similar menu. There was really nothing like it in Newbury Park.

This place is a hidden gem. The food was amazing and so was the margaritas. Even the pepperoni pizza my son had was excellent. So glad to find this restaurant in our community.

My husband and I decided to try this place. I would say don’t go. I got a 25.00 chicken piccata. It was previously frozen and you could tell. I asked for pepper and was told the didn’t have any. What?! My husband ordered the steak medium rare, it came burnt. It was probably about over 90 degrees in the restaurant on our visit. The waitress and all employees were very annoyed( we heard them speaking) not an ideal place for a dinner, especially when the temp inside is over 90 degrees or higher. I am sad because we live so close to this place but it lacks a lot. Wish them the best
