My husband and I finally got to visit North Fork Chai this morning and it was amazing!!! We got the signature chai which was possibly the best I’ve ever had. Not overly sweet and had all of the spice you expect from a great chai. The breakfast sandwich and burrito were both delicious and the chipotle aioli spread was so flavorful, definitely get extra for dipping! Last but not least, we split a strawberry oat crumble scone…so fresh, lightly crispy and with a buttery tender...

Anytime I’m driving up to Truckee, or just making my way that way, I will stop by NorthFork Chai. As the name says, they are known for their chai (and even sell it as a concentrate!), but do NOT sleep on their breakfast! Especially their breakfast sandwich. Like a hug in your mug.

This place is incredible! From their barista pulling perfect espresso shots, to the beautiful latte art he pours while in a casual conversation. Their food they sell is fantastic. I haven’t tried it all but I love the vinegars and of course the Chai. First timers go for the dirty Chai. You won’t regret it! And in PSL season go for the Pumpkin Chai.

No indoor seating so chilly morning sunrises are cozy with everyone...
