“This is a wonderful, family run establishment. We come up from Culver City just so my wife can have treats at this bakery (usually after a hike). The people who run it are super friendly and their artwork in spiritually inspiring-just beautiful all around.“

“I have been going to Porto's since the 1980's..the one in Glendale. How elated I was with having them being in Northridge where I live. The food is terrific and the lines go fast due to a tremendous quick system they have. The catering for parties has never let us down and people you have invited that never have experienced Portos are thrilled. The cakes are delicious. What I do miss is not having the individual cake slices for purchase so you can experience the taste. They only have the neapolitan, Parisian, and carrot for slices. I've seen the menu change over time and do miss some of the items.“

“I personally love crumble when it first came out. I was never given a chance to try it but then I tried it for the first time and I was blown. I think that it’s absolutely amazing and I cannot get the crumble flavors of the week every week when I do, I am very grateful because I’m always super excited to see what new crumble flavors crumbles came out with every week on Sunday. I always check my Crumbl app and I always see what Crumbl cookies are there today and I get very very aesthetic because some I really really want others I want but I don’t need but overall I think that crumble is an amazing could you please and I think that you should definitely go check it out.“

Cheese stuffed zaatar and the sojouk kachopuri were my favorite and the garlic chicken wrap was my husbands. I would highly recommend the jalapeno bread with creme cheese, but come early because they run out often by noon.“

“The types of bread at Tous Les Jours Bakery and 85 Bakery are quite similar, but I find Tous Les Jours to be less sweet and much more to my taste. The store was clean, and the bread was fresh. It seems that Tous Les Jours is a little more expensive. I'm looking forward to it opening in Stevenson Ranch.“

I ordered two cakes from A Sweet Design during this order and they were both so good!
We did a custom heart cake for my 30th and a carrot cake for my mom and they were excellent!
The custom heart cake had Chocolate Chip Vanilla Bean and safe to say, that’s my new favorite! We’ve had the black and white cake before and that was a hit too!

“The cafe is clean and inviting. The gentleman behind the counter was more than helpful with my indecisive questions. The food was well priced and delicious. I recomend the Vietnamese coffee its strong, doesn't taste burnt, or watered down. It's not too sweet, either.“

“My wife wanted to stop by here to pick up a cake for her aunt birthday. This 85C is inside a big plaza so there are a lot of parking spots here. This store is small so be aware of this because they won't have as much pastries as other bigger 85C stores. When we walked inside, my wife went to see if they had the jalapeno cheese but they did not. We then went to look at their cake options and they didn't have much to select from. She ended up getting the strawberry deluxe cake and they give out a happy birthday sign and candles for free. The employee was nice during the interaction we had with him while ordering the cake.

For Dia de Los Reyes they made roscas and for Valentine's Day they made heart conchas... so sweet and such an amazing idea! They are always very helpful with custom orders too :)“

They have a good selection of bottled and canned drinks, including fresh made vegetable and fruit drinks. I highly recommend this local small business over Dunkin' or Winchell's. I usually get the #1 breakfast sandwich, ham egg cheese on a croissant but I sub the ham with turkey.“

“So I had to get a gift for a friend who lives in Florida, and I am up North. I had ordered from Marge's Bakery in the past but not for a few years and was thrilled to find them again. Jeanette, the kindest, most thoughtful person on the planet took my order and included an amazing array of vegan cookies and 2 vegan mini breads, gift wrapped it up with a lovely ribbon and shipped it out for my friend to get it on his birthday. He absolutely loved everything, but he said the vegan lemon cookies and the mini carrot cake were real stand-outs (and he's very discerning when it comes to desserts!). It's such a joy when you find a place that really comes through for you quality-wise, with customer service that is caring and makes you feel like an old friend. Best bakery ever!“
