We went for our anniversary and got there in time to see the beautiful sunset from the bar! Great cocktails and the food was amazing! We had the pork chop and the sea bass and we loved them both. Our waiter Roberto so friendly and professional.
Always a great time dining here. Love seeing the restaurant still thriving. Since the first time we dined here 10+ yrs ago still feels and looks amazing. Along with the staff still remembering us every time we return. Definitely 5 stars in my book.
If you enjoy an old school vibe you will love this restaurant. The servers are professional and pleasant. The food is classic and delicious. The view at sunset is unsurpassed. Go.
Too music selection was good but place is very loud. Don't recommend it for a private intimate night. Bar area was fine with volume but dining area should go back to being classier.
Such a beautiful place with great food. The service was excellent and everyone was very kind.
All the staff were amazing. We hadn't been there in many years, but is still the same as we remember. We will be going back more often!
This place is a very special place to us that has been here forever! The food is out of this world & the service is impeccable.
The steaks weren't cooked to what we had asked (Medium rare) In any other Restaurants we have been they would of cooked a new ribeye steak but at this place it was just put back on the grill, which is kinda disappointing as everyone else was done with dinner by the time the steak came back.
We have a weekly date night and have never been here, though many times along the beach it has caught our interest. The website advertises fine dining. Though it is not so. We arrived early, were sat on time, but a large party upstairs was a noise nuisance the entire time. Loud, drunk men and women. Profanities during our dinner. Fernando was nice, but was distracted and instead of an 8oz filet I was served Cioppino soup(?). Needless to say, my wife and I did not eat dinner together. The only resolution was to bring more food to the table at COMP. However, I'm on medication that reduces appetite, so “no thank you”. I assume Fernando was offering to the best of his ability, but also to not involve a manager. We were never visited by the manager as a courtesy. We've been to non “fine dinning” establishments with far greater care and investment in the guest experience. We will not return
Can't go wrong with this place. Pricey but worth it! Service and food are great . Spectacular sunset view .

Had dinner with friends. The view was perfect and the food was excellent. Brought my own bottle of wine to share with friends. The cork fee was steep ($50) but more cost effective. I had the Ribeye and it was delicious. Our server was great. They have many servers taking care of all the customers so they were always attentive. Would definitely recommend this restaurant.
the food was incredible! our waiter was quick, patient, and very kind. the atmosphere is great and the low light levels really make it intimate. will definitely dine again
I haven't been to this restaurant in a few years (because life happens), but when I thought of what type of atmosphere and food I would want to celebrate a milestone birthday, this place was the only one to come to mind. The ambiance was very classy, romantic, and just noisy enough to feel like you could still talk in your normal voice. Although most of their menu is seafood based (for obvious reasons), I have to say their ribeye steak was PHENOMENAL. Seasoned and cooked to perfection. Extensive wine list for those who are into wine. I personally don't drink anymore, but even their liquor selection was excellent. I had their Mock-tai and it was a perfect drink to cheers with. Service is impeccable. Honestly, if I lived closer I would come here way more often. Parking can be challenging given it's beachfront location, so be smart and give yourself a minimum of 15 extra minutes to park just in case valet is full. If you're looking for fine dining with a lovely ocean view and the full-fancy vibes for a romantic or meaningful night out, this place is a great option,
It doesn't get any better than 21 Oceanfront at the Newport Beach Pier area. The best in quality food, service, ambiance... You cannot go wrong here !
Took my wife on a Monday night 6 pm and had a surprisingly relaxing, quiet and romantic dinner for my wife's b'day. I was expecting it to be crowded and noisy being that it's just feet away from Newport Beach Pier parking lot. It wasn't though. I had a fantastic baseball cut swordfish. Thick, juicy and flavorful. My wife had blackened seafood linguine that had scallops and sausage. It was fantastic as well. Also had a nice bottle of Australian resiling, fresh and crisp. The service was great, very attentive and interested in making our dinning experience a memorable one. Just a fantastic experience and we will return and I highly recommend it. It's probably more crowded on weekends but couldn't comment on that. Thanks to the servers and great chefs.
