Can't go wrong with this place. Pricey but worth it! Service and food are great . Spectacular sunset view .

Had dinner with friends. The view was perfect and the food was excellent. Brought my own bottle of wine to share with friends. The cork fee was steep ($50) but more cost effective. I had the Ribeye and it was delicious. Our server was great. They have many servers taking care of all the customers so they were always attentive. Would definitely recommend this restaurant.

I haven't been to this restaurant in a few years (because life happens), but when I thought of what type of atmosphere and food I would want to celebrate a milestone birthday, this place was the only one to come to mind. The ambiance was very classy, romantic, and just noisy enough to feel like you could still talk in your normal voice. Although most of their menu is seafood based (for obvious reasons), I have to say their ribeye steak was PHENOMENAL. Seasoned and cooked to perfection. Extensive wine list for those who are into wine. I personally don't drink anymore, but even their liquor selection was excellent. I had their Mock-tai and it was a perfect drink to cheers with. Service is impeccable. Honestly, if I lived closer I would come here way more often. Parking can be challenging given it's beachfront location, so be smart and give yourself a minimum of 15 extra minutes to park just in case valet is full. If you're looking for fine dining with a lovely ocean view and the full-fancy vibes for a romantic or meaningful night out, this place is a great option,

It doesn't get any better than 21 Oceanfront at the Newport Beach Pier area. The best in quality food, service, ambiance... You cannot go wrong here !

Took my wife on a Monday night 6 pm and had a surprisingly relaxing, quiet and romantic dinner for my wife's b'day. I was expecting it to be crowded and noisy being that it's just feet away from Newport Beach Pier parking lot. It wasn't though. I had a fantastic baseball cut swordfish. Thick, juicy and flavorful. My wife had blackened seafood linguine that had scallops and sausage. It was fantastic as well. Also had a nice bottle of Australian resiling, fresh and crisp. The service was great, very attentive and interested in making our dinning experience a memorable one. Just a fantastic experience and we will return and I highly recommend it. It's probably more crowded on weekends but couldn't comment on that. Thanks to the servers and great chefs.

Great menu and excellent service. everything tasted great except for the brussels sprouts which were to dry for my wife. They took them back and did not charge for them.

Was really just meh. Service not on par with the prices. I had the lamb chop appetizer as my meal and it came out lukewarm, over cooked and too chewy. My husband had a VERY delicious baseball cut swordfish. I wanted it to be more special since i took him there for his birthday but it was just kind of run of the mill.

The old white man who is the host is a rude jerk! Ruined the evening with his bad attitude. Food was okay.

Quiet, upscale, and great service. Calamari was tender and delicious. Cocktail and steak were also tasty. A bit pricey, but the portions were large enough to split.

3 stars. Booked a week in advance and requested a sunset table for a birthday. We were seated away from the view, and the birthday note wasn't passed to our server. No one introduced themselves as our server, though an older gentleman ended up taking care of us, he was very attentive and kind. Food flavors were good, but both the appetizers and entrées arrived warm, not hot. Mixed experience overall.

Coastal elegance with prime views. We sat at the bar for HH one evening and it was delightful. Bartender Tony is clearly part of a beloved and tight knit community of locals.
We visited for a celebratory dinner another evening and it was also lovely.
Both food and drinks were superb.

Fantastic food! Compliments to the Chef!!

Only note: Lobster Mac side should be a slightly bigger size for the cost or at least have a little more lobster bits
