To be honest, I expected better for a $400 dinner. They sat us down in a small dark room with no view. I noticed that unlike the tables on the first floor, this room had no flowers on the table and no windows. The salad was very plain and we had to ask for extra dressing. The filet mignon was fairly plain as well. The bathrooms were extremely small with only one stall and one urinal. The staff was nice and it wasn’t terrible, but far from worth $400.

Overall beautiful place, however, some guests were rather loud and we didn't expect that level of vocality in such an establishment as it took from our experience. We were hoping for a more quiet atmosphere so we can enjoy each other's company, and we simply didn't get that.

From the valet person, to the host, our server, and all those assisting in between, everyone was so nice and accommodating. We were celebrating a friend's birthday and she received a card from the restaurant which was a sweet surprise. The cocktails were great and the food was delicious... we got the scallops, Chilean sea bass, rib-eye steak, and the cioppino. The chocolate soufflé was decadent. I'd definitely go back there again.

First time here, took my family for our 25th wedding anniversary & let them know ahead of time but no mention by the staff or a card or anything. Ambience was visually good but restaurant was playing screechy iritating music. Service was minimal & uncaring. Waiter didn't fully take our order but left after we ordered appetizers so we had to let him know we didn't finish ordering. Once the food was served, waiter didn't return to ask how the food was as most do. Seemed he was doing the minimum. The onion soup, truffle fries & mash potatoes were great & the bass was fresh. Rest of the food was mediocre for the price, my rib eye was supposed to be medium well but was butterflied and overcooked to dryness. The lobster in the salad was overcooked also and the greens were wilty. Rest was just ok. The view of the pier was fantastic from our seating but nothing to protect us from the blinding sun as it set. Lastly, although my wife and family got in before me as I parked the car, I was stopped at the door by the doorman/valet because he said they didn't open until 4pm, even though it was 3 min. before 4 & we had reservations. I would pick one of my better experience places next special occasion.

They sent us downstairs to the cellar for dinner with the rest of the kids....I was very offended ! Not a good way to spend your valentine's dinner and still we spent more than 400 usd for 2 people I am not coming back without an apologize, i always go to the bar but not anymore Felix Estrella

-lease check your receipt I didn't read the whole thing only the bottom part saying that the tip is not included and find out that the tip and tax of the tip was already included when I checked the receipt when I got home,. So I double tip, yes I called them and get my refund but honestly it's very strange that this things actually happened.

Fantastic location right across the street from the beach. Sunset was amazing. Catalina Island was clearly visible on a nice clear day. The food was perfect- Lobster tail and Sea Bass were just excellent. The atmosphere is upscale with great service to match. Expect pricey but don't hesitate.

What a great place with great food and great view! The drinks were awesome too and staff was very friendly and accommodating! Loved it that I could pay valet with dinner tab! They made everything easy and enjoyable!

Perfect place for a Special Celebration! The food is amazing and there is live music on Friday evenings. We enjoyed the crab cake as an appetizer, the Asian Pear salad, and the Lobster with sides for our entree. The lobster is grilled to perfection and the crab cake is the best I've had outside of Maryland. Service is SUPERB! Highly recommend ordering the souffle for dessert, both the chocolate and the Grand Mariner are delicious! Tip: order the souffle after placing your main entree order ... this gives the kitchen plenty of time to make it.

21 Oceanfront is exceptionalI ordered the ribeye and Brussel sprouts on a Saturday evening. The ribeye was perfectly sized and perfectly cooked. Wall to wall pink with a nice crust on it. It was tender, seasoned to perfection and a 10/10.The Brussel sprouts were amazing and rivaled the best ones I’ve ever had. They were tossed in olive oil and cooked with pancetta. 10/10Service was excellent. Jack waited on me and was a flawless service.Bathroom was clean.5/5 will return.

Really disappointing first time here. We came into town for a 2 day business meeting, and the night before we came here for drinks and appetizers. Settled on the crabcake, which certainly wasn't very appetizing, between the 2 of us, we didn't even finish it, (Even though it was the most expensive either of us have ever seen).Next morning, both of us were nauseous with significantly upset stomachs.Really upsetting considering the venue and the perceived quality given the price and the location/presentation.Pretty much ruined both of our day having to feel sick and excuse ourselves multiple times from our meetings.Totally understand that "Things" happen, just wouldn't have bet on it just going off face value of this establishment.Live and learn....

Took 25mins to the server to come take our order. I had to go look for him. He comes & no apology and says we're busy. We order food & after 45mins of waiting I called him to cancel the order since it took abnormally long for a simple order of 3 french onion soups. Again no apologies from the server Overall, horrible experience. Ruined our date night

Amazing experience here at their bar. The bar itself had this stunning view of the ocean , you have to go here.We each had a martini and they were fantastic. The bartenders were telling us stories of famous patrons , we talked to some locals about their favorite spots around town, and the musician in the bar was so good!Highly recommend this spot for a date night, or an upscale but approachable cocktail with an ocean view.
