I love 501 Park Ave. The ambiance is very nice and the food and service is great! We tried to go last weekend and no one answered the phone, please tell me it hasn't closed down. It's my favorite place on the island.

Had the salmon salad. Salmon was moist and cooked perfectly. Beignet were the best I've had

We were greeted by our waitress after about 30 minutes of being seated. 30-40% of the menu was unavailable because they are in the process of converting to a Mexican restaurant. There are stacked up tables and traffic cones in the restaurant. After we were brought water, we didn't see our waitress for about 45 minutes. We were having a nice conversation with friends, otherwise we would have left.

We were staying in a rental just around the corner and ate here twice. Excellent food and ambiance. Salmon dinner was amazing, as was a simple bacon and eggs breakfast. One waiter was a little scattered, but corrected his mistakes amiably. My daughter didn't think much of the ramen but they offered her something else and it was easily resolved. Definitely would come back when in the area!

Had breakfast and pricing, and portions were right on. Food quality was very good, certainly better than the prices might suggest. Will definitely be going back.

An absolute gem!!! Just what Balboa Island needed. Such a cool beach vibe restaurant. Excellent menu. World Class Chef. Every dish is extremely fresh and healthy. Can't wait to come again!! Perfect Ambience. I love 501 Park Avenue. It's a local hangout. It reminds me of "Cheers", "where everybody knows your name..." Lol. I love being here. What a hidden gem. One of the best restaurants in Newport Beach. I love the location. One block from the beach. Beautiful views. Relaxing Vibe. Cool people working here. Angel, the manager, has class and style, and adds that personal touch. If you want an excellent dining experience we recommend Logan, Adrian, Kaitlin, Flavio, or anyone that works here. Everyone is super friendly and nice. We love Logan. Excellent service from Flavio. We love Adrian's thoughtful attention to detail. Kaitlin is always so sweet and smiling. The hostess is the perfect hostess, super warm and friendly and makes you feel welcome. Upscale menu. My favorite dish is the kale caesar salad with grilled salmon. Absolutely the best caesar salad I have ever had. And the best grilled salmon I have ever had hands down!!! Absolutely delicious and delightful. We recommend everything on the menu. Some of our favorites are definitely the breakfast burrito (best breakfast burrito I have ever had), the cinnamon beignets (with homemade cream and caramel...omg! YUM). Love the fresh fruit. The arugula salmon salad is also exquisite. Love the sea salt potatoes. Everything is Made to perfection. Love the waygu burger and fries. For being on Balboa Island/and in Newport Beach, the pricing is extremely reasonable. One of the best kept secrets in Newport Beach. A local hangout. If you want deliciousness, super fresh and healthy, every dish made to perfection, beautiful relaxing and chill location...look no further than 501 Park Avenue Bistro!! I want to go back for lunch or dinner, and try their waygu sliders, carne asada tacos, ramen bowls, and BLT. Amazing and dedicated culinary team, a block from the beach!! With a premium coffee roaster in-house (Succulent Coffee)!! Amazing!! This place is not to be missed!! You will not be disappointed!!

Their waygu burger is out of this world. We also ordered the braised ribeye and that was not that good. Other than that, a cute local restaurant in the Balboa Island.

Over by the ferry entrance far from from the main downtown area. More of a residential area. It's a coffee shop at the front with a restaurant and bar in the back. Indoor and outdoor seating. Dog and baby friendly. Sitdown, full service. Our server Rex was above and beyond exceptional! We came for a late lunch / early dinner on a Saturday. The two of us got the short rib grilled cheese as a starter, and they split it for us at no charge. As a result, I think they gave us more salad to cover the two plates! For mains, we got the ramen bowl and chicken sandwich, which comes with fries. Super big servings and everything was delicious! Ramen was scalding hot for a long time, so beware. Most fries I've ever seen! Also got a large local beer for myself. Starter, two mains, and a large beer totaled around $65 (tax and tip included) as of Nov 2022.

We walked in randomly and went to the bar, Sammy the bartender makes some Of the best and strongest, tasty drinks I've ever had, he was so friendly and inviting and attentive to us that we will be coming back.

This place was recommended by Moke Rentals for their Maragritas. On arrival, we were met with friendly waitress and the Bartender made the best Maragaritas my girl and her sister have ever had. I asked for a Long Island, and by far, the BEST I've had at any bar or restaurant. Bartender Sammy, was the coolest down to Earth Bartender we've met. He and his sister, waitress, we super friendly and inviting. The drinks, friendly atmosphere, no wait, and, clean environment, will be the reason we return. Our only complaint is that we didn't have enough time to hang out longer and try the food. Will definitely be back!!!

Place was empty except for a few people at the bar. When we asked for the outdoor heater to be turned on, they forgot. My husband ordered a Coors Light. Whey were out. When I ordered my drink, they forgot. I was told the "bartender lost my ticket." My food portion was very small, but my husband enjoyed his burger. Since is was so slow, the wait staff was goofing around inside and it seemed very unprofessional. I felt that for the prices, it was not what I had hoped.

We walked the island and ended up at 501 to watch baseball and have a drink. Rex was more than helpful with drink selection as well as the arugala salmon salad! Amazing!! We will be back for our new Tuesday afternoon spot soon!
