Great place. We have eaten here several times. Service and atmosphere is always top notch. The food is really good. Salads are big enough to share. It may be our imagination but while the prices are on the high side the servings seem to be getting smaller.

We have eaten here many times and loved it: close to our house, pretty atmosphere, interesting menu. Unfortunately, this night was glitchy. Our table for 4 was not ready at our reservation time, so we were directed to the bar to wait. We ordered drinks while waiting. Once we were served, our waiter took a look at our drinks and said "I see that you already have drinks, so I will let you settle in" and he zoomed off before we could say that we were ready to order. We were pretty hungry by this point, so we were bummed to have to wait even longer. When the waiter took our order, my husband explained that he is allergic to gluten and dairy. We have never had an issue with an allergic reaction in the past at this restaurant. The cutlery was cleared after our first course and not replaced. The main courses were dropped on the table by a runner, who ran off before noticing that we still needed cutlery. We finally flagged down our waiter to get knives and forks. My husband took 3 bites of his pork chop and started having an allergic reaction, so he stopped eating, took medicine and just sat the rest of the meal. Our waiter did not notice until he came to clear all of the plates at the very end of the meal (40 minutes later). He said, "do you want a box?' My husband said definitely not. By then, everyone else was done eating, so it was too late for him to order anything else to eat. We would still recommend this restaurant in general, because we have had terrific food and service on our other visits. This one was disappointing.

This is a wonderful restaurant, vibe is cool and food was great. I had the squash blossoms, grilled Caesar salad, and the salmon. Don't miss the cheesecake! Great place to celebrate a birthday or anniversary. There are no bad tables, all comfy booths with plenty of room.
Everything was excellent the only issue was that my waitress didn't hear my order while we're ordering and I never received my food until everyone was done eating. She did comp us a free desert

What more can I say? A Restaurant Crystal Cove has become our favorite dining spot on the coast for lunch. It is really hard to get past the appetizer menu if you are an unrepentant foodie! This time it was spicy yellowfin tuna, steak tartare and duck liver pate finished with a slice of cheesecake and blueberries. Apart from the food the relaxed romantic atmosphere and impeccable service keep drawing us back. I highly recommend you experience this place for yourself. You will not be disappointed.

We had a cozy table by the fireplace, which was perfect on a rainy SoCal day. The restaurant has a nice warm vibe and it was quiet so conversation was easy. We all chose salads from the lunch menu: 2 opted for the seared tuna salad, which came with 7 perfectly prepared medallions of ahi and deliciously fresh greens; 1 chose the grilled Caesar salad, which was very much to her liking; the other shared the heirloom tomato + burrata salad - the watermelon was a delightful surprise. She also had the wild mushroom soup and didn't share, as it was too delicious! The service was very attentive and polite, the food was quite good, but we all felt the prices were high. Will that keep us from returning? Not likely!

Octopus appetizer had very little distinguishable octopus. Pasta and chicken piccata combo were low on flavor and small portion. Skirt steak was meh - nice sauce and that's about it. Better to have a drink at the bar to enjoy the atmosphere. The rest is overrated.
The place was really beautiful. The bar area takes your breath away. It's so pretty, the menu lacked selections, and we could not figure out if this was a steakhouse or a place where you go for drinks and a cozy table by the fireplace to have appetizers. The food that we ordered was great, and the service was impeccable, but again I saw it more as a place to get together with girlfriends and order appetizers and hang out.
Absolutely stunning restaurant and extremely comfortable seating options that don't feel crowded...just wish the menu choices and food were better. Will definitely give it a couple more tries, or at the very least sit at the bar for a drink and enjoy the surroundings.

Excellent food and quick, attentive service. Portions were larger than expected. We made a meal of mostly appetizers. Unique menu you will not find other places. Received a Birthday Card from staff. Very thoughtful ! I highly recommend A Crystal Court!

Oh my gosh, this is our favorite restaurant, the ambience vibe, food and service are over the top and we walk out saying we can't wait to come back! Last evening was our anniversary and we were dying to get there looked forward to it for days. Started with our absolute favorite of any where we've ever been and that's the steak Tarter, followed by Caesar salad, Caesar salad, which is amazing. Joy had the chicken piccata and I had the salmon, both of which were amazingonly exceeded by the incredible service from David and his amazing staff
A went above and beyond! It was our anniversary and we arrived to customized menus and champagne for our celebration! Amazing attention to detail and the food was fantastic! Can't wait to come back!
