Everything about this place is disgusting... They are rude to customers, they speak on politics in their business which is just a terrible business practice, and their ice cream was really soft and melted, mediocre at best. Never again...go ANYWHERE

We have been your ice cream shop many times and absolutely love it. It is some if the best ice cream we have ever had in a fun environment. My 6 year old loves the cotton candy ice cream and color changing spoons. Everyone working is kind and friendly and the ice cream is delicious. We are eagerly awaiting your reopening and hope that it will be close to Newport Beach.

Business run by shady owners. Booked an event months in advance and they took our money ~$1500. Canceled on us 2 days before with no remorse. When I tried to get a refund, the owner Kari kept making up false promises and every excuse in the book. I finally had to open a claim with my credit card and they still tried to fight it shockingly.Luckily I had proof to provide to my bank and was able to recoup my money.Go read their most recent reviews on yelp. It sounds like a common practice for them. Do not support these dishonest and unethical people.

This place is closed and isn't listed on Fashion Island's website anymore and according to the person I talked to there is no plan for them to re-open another store at Fashion Island. Please be aware that if you order from their website they have no way to make the ice cream and ship it to you since everything was done at their store which is now closed.

I really hate to tear down a business as I always try to give the benefit of the doubt, but the treatment we've received from this business has scam written all over it. I'm sad to say we fell for it. I originally found this place on gigster when looking for places to hold our 80+ guest baby shower. We chatted with the owner, Kari and determined that their location at Fashion Island was a great fit for our special event. Initially she was responsive, suggested ideas and honestly really helpful. It seemed great. We then reached the point where we needed to pay for our event in full, just under $2,000, which seemed reasonable for all that we thought we'd be getting. We met with the owners in person about 2-3 weeks before our event to discuss details and ask questions. Kari let us know she'd be emailing us documents to make our final selections in preparation for the big day. Well, this is when things started to take a turn. After that meeting we didn't hear from Kari. We reached out asking to solidify our ice cream choices and party details since it was days away. We were met with the excuse that her dog had passed and she had been a little overwhelmed and would get it to us in a couple days. We were kind and supportive and trusted that to be the case. After quite a few days we reached out again because we were less than a week away from the big event. No response. We continued to reach out daily by call, text and email until we finally received an email 1.5 days before our event saying that they needed to cancel our event! Being 8 months pregnant with people already coming in from out of town, etc, you can imagine the stress this put on me. Kari assured us that it was an issue that was out of their control, that there was no way to utilize the space at all and that they'd be refunding us. I had to take a whole day off work to scramble and find a new last minute venue, last minute decor, desserts, food and all the other things that our package with Atomic was going to be providing. It was truly more stress than any 8 month pregnant woman should have to handle. We pulled it off, but the stress and nightmare of ever doing business with Atomic is still persisting to this day. For weeks my husband was trying to get details about the refund. At first it was going to be back to our card, then it was going to be a cashiers check. Then atomic stopped responding all together. At this point my husband filed a fraud claim with our credit card in the hopes of getting a resolution. Well, we now have received word from our credit card that Atomic is trying to fight the claim!!! What kind of people do this? I'm now over 9 months pregnant, the baby could be here and day, and the last thing we need is to be trying to get back a large sum of money that we really could use for this new chapter of life we are in the thick of. PLEASE DO NOT TRUST THIS BUSINESS. DO NOT RENT THEIR SPACES OR THEIR AIR STREAM. DO NOT SEEK THEIR EVENT PLANNING SERVICES. They sadly put on a show to make us believe they were a wholesome family business that we were happy to support and work with. But in the end that was just to get our money and run. You will see the other most recent reviews are having a similar experience. I honestly believe they were going out of business already and decided they have nothing more to lose. It's just truly sad the way they are taking advantage of good people who put their trust in them.

I normally don't leave reviews, however this place is a horrible place of business. Thank goodness for credit payments as I was able to dispute charges after waiting for a nationwide shipping order placed on July 2023 as a gift that was never fulfilled or refunded. Initially I was able to have communication with Kari and they were very professional and she was initially reassuring. By Oct and Nov communication became sparse and eventually stopped. No response to voice messages so I started leaving emails to track my communication and tried to request cancellations or refunds. Still no response. I gave up and went straight to my bank to request a dispute and get credited. If you plan on placing an online nationwide order, please make sure you do not get charged for the order until the order is fulfilled. I'm going to assume the online ordering is closed because they're temporarily closed, but you never know! As much as I'd like to rate this business based on their products, I cannot. Please review negative reviews before attempting this place.

SHADY CROOKS! This place stole $300 from me. Had an event planned for January 20. (Very large-- was buying out the whole restaurant for an evening party.) I started trying to call and email Kerri (the owner) in early November to finalize plans, since I paid my $300 deposit in May 2023! She ignored me. (One time she literally picked up the phone and then, realizing it was me, hung up.) It wasn't until DECEMBER 17 that she informed me they had to close via one single text with no further explanation. This was less than a month from my event, so I lost several hundred dollars in addition for vendor deposits, useless invites, etc. It is now January 16. Kerri has not responded to any correspondence and is ignoring my request for my $300 to be refunded. I have been very cordial, and would never write a negative review of a business unless it was absolutely warranted. But the fact is, they stole from me. PLEASE-- LISTEN TO THE HORRIBLE REVIEWS FOR THIS PLACE. I tried giving them the benefit of the doubt and I got screwed royally. They are crooks. Do not give your money to dishonest people.
