⭐️⭐️⭐️ Came by Azar’s Gourmet Pizza on a Saturday around 2 PM. Got a slice of cheese pizza for $7.02—simple, fresh, and tasty. The crust was crisp, and the cheese had good flavor. The shop smells amazing as soon as you walk in.
Located near the Balboa Fun Zone and just steps from the ferry dock, it’s a convenient stop if you’re in the area. Pizza took about 5 minutes—hot and fresh. Plenty of seating inside, even on a weekend.
💡 Tip: A bit pricey for one slice, but fast service and great location help make up for it.

Dirty, slow service even when they say 5 minutes I waited 12...just to catch the chef peeling carrots without gloves and eating them at the same time, no hand washing and he proceeded to cook my pizza slice. The other man, the cashier was so upset that I wanted my money back due to their poor health practices that I caught behind the counter. He looked at me with attitude and threw away the pizza, as he should because food shouldn't be dirty or made with haste. Luckily I went across the street and spent a little more money to get a pizza slice twice as big and twice as fast with the 1st most important quality in taste, freshness! Head over to New York Style Pizza!!!

I got the house special pizza and fries by the way.... I was there on a Sunday 16th of March.
Nothing gourmet about this place, the pizza was lacking flavor and the crust was underwhelmingly flavorless as well as overcooked and overly crunchy. Another reviewer had it right where they said it was almost like crackers. I didnt understand where the reviews were coming from saying it was good. It was hands down the worst pizza I have eaten.

Amazing Pizza!!! The cheese was so melty and hot, it was a perfect match and you can get all you want (a slice, small, medium or large pizza, calzone, pasta, subs…)
And the location is lovely, right next to the beach and Pier
So glad we stopped in here. Plenty of seating, view of the marina and ferris wheel. The pizza was great. We had the house special. Kids loved it, the customer service is amazing, super friendly and helpful. Will stop in next time in in town!
