Azar's has the BEST PIZZA in California from Northern, Central and Southern California. Love coming here and have been coming back for years. Love that it's a small family owned business and they take time and care into their food. Love their quality but also the team is great too! A MUST TRY whenever in Balboa Island.

This place is always good and they always have my order ready for pickup when we get a Duffy boat. We do this at least once a year. I also get an antipasto salad here when I paddle board in the harbor. They are always happy to take my order and friendly. I will come here over and over. I like the godfather pizza, meatballs, and the antipasto salad. Yum!

Really cool chill spot especially if you’re looking for a slice! Right by the ferry and the pizza here is really good. You can customize an individual slice however you want which is a rarity! Pizza was crispy, melty cheese, with a nice crust! If you’re hungry and in the area this is a great place to stop.

Remember the cardboard bland pizza you got at school lunch in elementary school? That was better than the slice I got here. Texture & taste 0 stars First time in my entire life I got 2 or 3 bites into a slice of any pizza and tossed it without getting halfway thru. The "gourmet" must have been in the half I tossed cause I got no gourmet in my bites.

Ok for a slice & a drink if you're in a hurry or to kick-back for a break. That's about it. Right next to the auto ferry. So there's plenty to keep your attention.There has to be better pizza in the neighborhood because you can go to a grocery store to get better pizza, wings, lasagna, & garlic bread out of the freezer.Not one person in my group would go back there again.

Cheese, flavor, toppings were good, but the crust is kinda dry and hard. "like a cracker" is what someone said. the guy working was very friendly. prices are pretty fair, especially for the location
