Frozen chocolate dipped bananas are all that and more.Everyone was happy with the treats they picked out . Great verity of items at a little pricey but The Balboa island is everything you think it is. A tourist trap and still so good! Definitely recommend trying this spot if your nearby and looking for some cold.

Fun place to visit! The employees here went out of their way to accommodate our crazy requests for our birthday celebration. Yummy treats, great service!!! Super fun location! Thank you to staff for making our celebration one of a kind! We will be back every time we are in Balboa!

Great verity of items at a very good price. The area itself is a little smelly of sewer, but that’s common for this strip. Nachos are excellent, corn dog was excellent. Hotdog was great deep fried Oreos were great , iced coffee was ok.

Best Balboa bars around by far. Also if you like carnival type fried food, etc. this is the place. Everything has been good. Service is fast and friendly. If you're in the area I wouldn't miss out. We've been there 3 times in the past week.

They make the fried oreos here perfectly everytime. They taste just like the ones you get at the fair and the order comes with just the right amount of fried oreos. You can't go wrong getting these, its my guilty pleasure when I'm by the pier. So glad I can get them year round. 5/5.

Went out on a short outing with the family, found this treat shop we had a couple of things such as the funnel cake, hot chocolate, coffee, churro, hot dog everything was delicious, the staff was very patient and friendly, the prices are very good compared to other shops, the atmosphere is very friendly and comfortable even though the weathers was a bit cold!!
Balboa Beach Treats is a nice little shack to get a quick sugar rush. I just had myself a root-beer soda float. Float was good and customer service was good. Got my sugar rush.

When in sunny California, make a stop in Newport Beach for a longtime favorite. Balboa Island has been a landmark serving up Balboa Bars and frozen dipped bananas since the 1940s. The Balboa Bar is vanilla ice cream hand-dipped in chocolate and then rolled in sprinkles, chopped toffee or chopped peanuts. Definitely delicious.
