Wish I could give 0 stars the bartender was a salty little guy. You should definitely look into hiring better bartenders with actual customer service experience.

Came here for my 25th birthday This place is One of the WORST experiences I have ever had !!! never have I been to such an unprofessional place or had to deal with racism the way we were treated as soon as we walked in was ridiculous this is my first time ever having to write a bad review the bartender (old man) was very rude and obviously drunk since we seen him taking shots of alcohol (that might explain his odd behavior ) when I accidentally dropped a drink on the ground, we kindly told the bartender that we accidentally spilled a drink on the ground the bartender then gets in my boyfriends face and says “what do you want me to pick it up or what “ then continues his aggressive behavior when we tried explaining to him that we were just letting them know so no one will slip and fall and that we are unable to clean up because we obviously don’t work there and don’t have the supplies to clean the spill up smh the bartender then starts threatening my boyfriend with fighting him the owner (also drunk and also gets aggressive with us ) then kicks us out while he was just sitting there watching the whole thing he obviously sees the way they treat customers and he supports it I don’t understand how they can treat people differently just because they are not from around there hope this place gets shut down !

Our first time there, but Jeff made it feel like back home. He filled us in on some of the local lore and the history of the bar itself with such warm energy. Lots of laughs were had as well.
May Jeff always be tipped well and never have to eat mayo-- his mortal sandwich enemy.
It will def be an annual trip to visit a special place with such a special person. Tell him Hellcat sent ya. 😉

Just thought I’d hop on here to elaborate that yes, everything that these people that are giving one stars are saying is true. Most of the good ones are from the locals who seem to either not be aware or have the favor of the owner or something because that old lady is in no place to be running a business. I look forward to seeing the truth of the way she carries herself to come out, because it’s messed up how she’s treating people.

HORRIBLE!! 25th birthday. I left my wallet in the car, my uncle went to go get it for me...the parking lot is right across the street the bartender( a woman) literally YELLED at my nana ...a 72 year old woman. About me having to be outside because she can get a fine...okay I was walking outside no problem I understand. But as I was walking the lady still decided to yell and disrespect my Nana. My nana raised her hand up in defense like i'm sorry we were doing what you asked, the woman bartender said " lady don't raise your hand at me" are you dang kidding?? I was walking outside within the 2 seconds you think an officer is going to stop by(like I said i was walking outside still...I FOLLOW rules) needless to say we went to the bar across the street!!
Great saloon, ideal for people who like pubs. Rustic charm with a nautical twist. Good selection of beer, and two pool tables. The friendly Barman Jeff is worth the visit alone.
