I have lived in America for ten years I have never heard such disrespect from anyone or any business they spilled balsamic vinegar on my friends Gucci white coat and Louis Vuitton bag .they refused to lower the price and added a 20% tip witch was the same amount that they told us they would discount from our bill ,they also accused us of lying after that we heard much more disrespect .

Great service, authentic Italian food

We have discovered another young incredibly talented chef that is very much flying under the radar. The chefs table is actually a bar looking into their open kitchen. in the middle of a strip mall Italian restaurant, Zach doesn’t really do menus as he likes to wing it as he goes along, like a sushi omakase where the chef sizes up his guests and their reactions and modifies it as he goes along. Drove me nuts as I was trying to do wine pairings ahead of time but he changed the menu way too many times to keep up. All the dishes are farmers market driven, with most incorporating ingredients from Chino farms. Meats and seafood are wild/grass fed and curated with care. His creative sauces and seasonings are what really stand out. The dishes are bold yet well-balanced. Zach is a chef savant who combines ingredients in an avant guard style , and it works. He uses buttermilk and yogurt instead of cream. Many of the ingredients are fermented. And all the plates are custom designed like what they did at Alinea so the presentations are artful and make the food look even more enticing. This guy is going places. Irvine is a hike, but his dinner is worth it. @schererzach, @bellochefstable and @woozface #thefoodietraveler

Went here with my wife and a friend for my birthday and the food was absolutely incredible. Zach is not only a world class chef, but a great host. It's so fun to watch him work right on front of you preparing all the wonderful dishes. We had just come back from a trip and Bello Chef's Table was way better than both Michelin star restaurants we ate at there. Wine pairings were perfect as well. Can't wait to go back!

I've been lucky enough to enjoy the Chef's Table experience a few times now, and every time, I'm still blown away at the creativity and thoughtfulness of the menu that Chef Zach puts together.Chef Zach makes the experience so memorable each time, and it's so fun being able to talk and interact while he prepares each course.

I discovered Bello during a work event, but since then have been back three times. It is the best and most authentic Italian food Ive had in the US and comparable and maybe even better than some of the best in Italy. The Tagliolini with Truffles is absolutely fantastic. My wife loves the Lemoncello and wants to go back to Capri after she has one. Even my son who is an extremely picky eater really enjoyed the Margherita Pizza and Burrata and bread. Truly a treat.

Lovely meal with Chef Zach. The food was delicious, and we loved the conversation. Chef was able to accommodate a non-alcoholic pairings and no shellfish protein swap (with prior arrangement). Some highlights: English Peas with pea milk; seared scallop with cacio e pepe leeks; saffron ice creamWould definitely go again.

We had such an enjoyable evening! The food was wonderful - my Amatraciana pasta was luxurious; the atmosphere relaxed yet elegant; the staff, including Sandro visiting with his many guests, was attentive and also relaxed yet elegant. It's really a lovely restaurant. It is beautifully appointed but I felt comfortable , and the bar feels cozy, like people know each other and come to gather, which I liked. But the absolute best part was my desert: Panna Cotta with Amarena Cherries was so good ... that now I'm obsessed with those cherries!

There is no place quite like Bello. You don’t come here to eat buttered noodles in red sauce on red picnic table clothes with parmesan shakers. You come here to eat art and to be surrounded by art. The team of chefs including the chef owner are masters of their craft. They definitely push the limits on Italian classics with a unique flair rarely seen in Italian cuisine. And the entire staff is sooo passionate about what they do —and they do it well! It’s easily one of those restaurants you’d go back to over and over and over again! ;)

Amazing food, great service and Lorenzo in the bar is a Lemoncello Rockstar. Nice happy hour everyday.

I met some friends there for New Year’s Eve. Guido was our server he was amazing. The food was delicious. I just wish they had more inside dinning space options. My friends are north easterners, from Boston, MA, they’re Italian food lovers, they said that this is the best Italian restaurant in orange county and certainly in Newport Beach. I would agree with them. I had the lasagna Bianca which was amazing. My daughter had the prosciutto pizza which I did have a bite of and it was equally delicious. We had a nice bottle of Borolo, the service was great. We will be back in 2023 and beyond.

My favorite dish from this place is certainly the Amatriciana pasta and I order it every time I come! Its flavor is consistent. Each time I order, the quality of the dish tastes like authentic Italian food. I cannot wait for my next visit and to try more savory dishes!

I went to this beautiful restaurant to celebrate my friends birthday and was so amazed at the incredible experience. The pizza we ordered was delicious and fresh made. The environment and service was immaculate and created an incredible dining experience. I definitely recommend this to anyone who is looking for quality, authentic Italian cuisine.
