The halibut wasn't cooked in the middle. I think you should serve bread or crackers with our $300 lunch

I ordered the Pupu platter (tastes of 5 diff apps) and it came out cold! For $48 it should have been better. The service was amazing!! View is fantastic!

Good food and Mai Tai's. Gracie was our server and was very attentive. Overall a great visit.

We had a lovely meal here at Billy's. The tuna salad sandwich, fish tacos & hangover burger were just rt. Service was superb as well.

Even though it's now $26... sill the best Cheeseburger in Orange County. ( and Best Mai Tai's of course)

Update: ive been back here twice this year and they never disappoint. They really came through when I had to abandon my birthday reservation at a dif restaurant. The food was excellent and the service is top notch. The drinks are smooth and the vibe is amazing.

We have been fans of Billy's for many, many years (used to live right up the hill) so when we came back to town this week (for the boat parade), we immediately put it on our agenda. What a disappointment. Billy's essentially is no more. We should have been warned by the new menus which are reminiscent of Islands Burgers. Plastic menus with burgers, chicken sandwiches and chips. Many of the old best dishes are gone - no more smoked fish platter, no Sea Bass. The Mai Tais were still great (the highlight of the evening) and the Calamari appetizer was ok but my "fish of the day" (miso swordfish) smelled old (stinky enough that the miso couldn't cover the scent) and was inedible (not that there was much of it to eat). They now charge (a lot) for the table cheese bread. We (sadly) will not be going back again.

I absolutely love this place the best fish tacos I’ve ever had the best Mai tais they have amazing food and amazing drinks n amazing views definitely my favorite place would definitely recommend

Billy's never disappoints! The view is lovely and the food delicious. Best Shrimp Louie in Newport Beach and cheese bread is soooo good. We had an issue with the valet (which is operated by a third party, not Billy's) which was handled exceptionally well by the hostess and manager. Everyone was very gracious and overly generous! Our compliments to our waiter who was exceptional as well as the manager and hostess. It was a lovely afternoon!

The best maitai in town. Excellent service and polite staff. Plus an aqesome veiw of the harbor.

We had such a great lunch / brunch started with the pu pu platter which was great for 6 ppl. Tacos & breakfast burrito was our favorites. Afterward we did a harbor cruise on a Tiki boat We boarded right behind the restaurant. We brought our own cupcakes & champagne. Javier was our captain & did a great job. It was a perfect day!!!!

Had a great meal with wonderful service at Billy's at the Beach during our recent visit in November of 2025. I have dined here several times and never been disappointed!

Beautiful sunset view from our window table. The ribs and Pu Pu platter were both outstanding, and the Mai Tai's never disappoint.
