Billy's At The Beach

Really enjoyed the temporary green beans for a poo poo. Loved our my ties and our entrées. Table by window was excellent.

I wouldn't come back for the food. It was adequate but the price of dinner didn't reflect that. I think you actually are paying for the Newport/Billy's experience which is fine as long as you don't expect really great food. BUT....our server Sebastion was good and the coconut cream pie was putstanding!

My girlfriend and I celebrated my birthday Friday at 11:30AM at Billy's for lunch and it was so nice and quiet early like that. Also we could get one of the lovely half round elevated booths and both enjoy the harbor view and boats. We ordered the fresh guacamole and chips (in a Hawaiian restaurant! Haha) and it was fabulous!!! We also split the salmon entree and split a Caesar salad and it was perfect. Then they brought out our dessert choice if key lime pie with a candle and it was fun . Our waitress was gorgeous and efficient and nice and everything was wonderful! It definitely started to fill up as we were leaving at 1:30 and I know Friday afternoons and Sundays are noisy and packed, but our early lunch was quiet and delightful 👌🩷

Our fish was dry, service very slow, we had to ask for refill on the water 3X to get one refill!

First time coming to this restaurant. The food was just ok, nothing too special, just basic food. Drinks were better, nice cocktail menu. Ambience & view of the harbor were wonderful. Had an issue with the valet trying to charge me twice. When I dropped off my car he charged me $10 then when leaving the restaurant he tried to charge me again. I'm assuming it was a simple mistake but he said they usually don't charge ahead of time so I asked then why did you charge me a head of time? He didn't answer me and just proceeded to get my car. That exchange was annoying. But overall I'm not in a rush to come back.

Great food and service always. Quite loud but it was a Saturday night and Labor Day weekend, so...

Took some friends over for the first time. They loved it! Great Mai Tais. Had the perfect sunset view, watching the boats cruise by. The waiter was very helpful assisting my friends with their menu selection. Always a hit!!

Do not order the chicken skewers, they were salty and dry, more like a jerky. The calamari was slightly over done. The servers were great, the drinks good. However; we overstayed our welcome, the host was rude, he said, he admired that we three could gab for 3 hours. All had to say is what the server said. That the area had reservations coming in at 7 pm. We had already paid our $200 tab and were waiting for our cc. The reason for the 'gab fest,' we hadn't seen each other for several months. Next time we get together, we'll go to Rusty Pelican.

It's definitely a great place for drinks, we went early and the breakfast menu was minimal. The view was fantastic but the food was just okay.

We(3) of us had a lovely lunch on a Tuesday afternoon. Very nice & we were able to sit by the windows.

I'll give the food 3 1/2 *s. Mai Tai is good. I like their clam chowder, a little different than others but tasty and a good portion.
The fish tacos are a meh for me who have had many great fish tacos.
The atmosphere is great - casual, friendly employees, fast service and you can just sit and relax with the harbor view and seals. Noise levels may be a little high but doesn't bother me.
Parking valet (not sure if they have regular parking) is $10. Not a big parking shared with 2 restaurants so valet parking will be better if you don't mind paying the $10.

We always love eating at Billy's It would be nice if they offered a military discount as is done by so many other restaurants ... my husband is a Purple Heart Vietnam Veteran & it would be a nice gesture for Billy's to do something of a discount to show their appreciation for our Veterans as other restaurants do

The salmon was cooked perfectly and my husband raved about the fish tacos. Our server Tom was friendly as well as professional and attentive.
