Billy's At The Beach

Great view of the bay, best mai tais ever. I've been here a few times, so I knew what to expect. They had great live music when we went as well. Love Billy's!

We went for brunch at 1 and we were a group of 8, our waiter didn't really seem to care if we were there or not. We had requested outside cause we had a dog and they said the outside was a private event- which I didn't see. But then they had to seat us inside and it was a small dog but the manager came over and said we have to make sure we keep him under the table/ he literally may have walked out once, not even in the way. The service just really wasn't that great - the food was subpar- probably won't go again, but see for yourself.

Overall it was a good time. Seating was a little cramped and chairs were old and wobbly. Live music was really loud especially if you’re seated close like we were. Even though we had a reservation and the restaurant wasn’t at capacity we still waited to be seated for about 10 minutes. Street parking is minimal and hard to get so I always resort to valet parking!

It was a good experience. We had our grandchildren there for Father's Day. It took us quite a while to get our food. They were pretty slow. Fortunately, it was good ambience so we weren't quite as focused on that.

They had a singer/musician who was way too loud! We could hardly talk plus very loud people at the bar didn't help. Food was very good... my husband had the pork chop which tasted good but a bit tough(it was better the last 2 times he had it). I had the fish and chips. Ono doesn't have as much taste as cod or halibut plus it is denser. They still were tasty. Love the drinks, guacamole and cheese bread. Next time I would eat outside if there is a musician there. Our waitress was very good.

Our Father's Day brunch at Billys was excellent. The ambiance, presentation, and delicious food were unsurpassed at any of our favorite coastal restaurants. We had the Luau platter for two with steak and chicken. It was awesome! The manager Sam, our servers, hostesses, and valet, were all friendly and professional. If you have not yet had the pleasure of enjoying it, we highly recommend Billy's at the Beach.

Delicious food, the macadamia nut crusted halibut was superb! Mai tai on the too sweet side for my taste buds , going to ask for it not so sweet next time . Valet service is $10.00 FYI. We didn't know that as the last time we were there - they didn't have valet. A great restaurant with wonderful food & service.

Yes the valet is expensive and sometimes unnecessary but that’s Newport for ya. However, I dream of their mai tai’s and coconut shrimp. It’s out of this world. And you can’t beat the view! A great casual laid back spot. Can’t wait to go back!

Mai Tai!!! Fun surroundings, upbeat. Worth the stop, any time through.

I came with a bike park on the side ( didn’t take any full spot for a car) and they trying to charge me for valet, ridicules
I was go eat and drink next door it was awesome.

bad experience from the parking lot I can’t imagine how bad gonna be the service there.

The food was good (great fish tacos), drink was strong (in a good way) and a fun atmosphere.

Enjoyed the patio for brunch. So many menu options, since the full menu is available. The mai tai is their signature cocktail, so I tried it. It did not disappoint! Delicious food and drinks!!
