It's hard to give this place 5 stars because the food isn't over the top. But it's exactly like you want. The drinks are great, service is great and the atmosphere is just what you expect. A bit old school with a great view. Go there. You won't be disappointed.
Not very busy on Sunday at 5:30pm. Used their dock for our Duffy boat. Restaurant was less than 50% full. Party of four sat on table next to the window but unlike two other tables, it was oriented with two chairs facing away from the view with our backs to the ocean. I made our reservation a couple of weeks in advance. When I arrived, I was told we had to be out within two hours, since they had a Buy Out starting at 6:45pm. This was never disclosed and I was angry because my friends drove almost two hours to meet in Newport,‘so we could celebrate their engagement with drinks and dinner.
