The $60 lunch omakase sounds like a good deal for a "high end" sushi restaurant, but it's not. It includes too many non-sushi dishes/fillers, and the fish tasted and looked like yesterday's. Definitely not worth $60 of food.

The bathroom smell was very bad and annoyed my wife so much she just wanted to leave after the Omakase course was complete. Food and Service good but need better job on Bathroom Vent or Smell of the restaraunt.

As always, a fantastic experience. Charming people excellent cuisine and flawless execution would be how I describe our most recent experience, but is always the case at this sign institution.

On Friday night with a loved one, enjoying the evening with good meal , unexpectedly the waitress “without asking for the check” he put on the table the invoice to pay and probable want us to leave soon?? We didn't ask for the check, we were some kind of surprise they did it. At the time we were seated we were the only couple having dinner at the bar area. This is the first time we had this incident and felt like they want us to leave. Felt very uncomfortable.

We came in for a wonderful experience, but unfortunately, did not have one. After ordering two of the highest level chef Omakase, we were disappointed with the price versus value, based upon our numerous past experiences. Moreover, as we were still eating dessert, the servers chefs and others working at the restaurant started cleaning and closing down, including mopping the restaurant with bleach, which Was extraordinarily unappetizing. We've eaten here many times in the past and will not return.

Got the Omikase lunch. It was many courses, tough to finish but it was all fantastic. Great patio, high quality sushi. Definitely coming again if I'm in the area.

The sunset view from this restaurant is beautiful, and enjoying sushi while looking at such a scenery is absolutely wonderful. The omakase course is highly recommended. You will surely be impressed not only by the taste but also by the beautiful presentation.
We haven't been to bluefin for a long time, but we were quite disappointed with our experience. It wasn't that the food was bad, but it was lackluster. There are so many wonderful new sushi restaurants around that have Creative delicious foods. Unfortunately bluefin apparently has chosen to stay with.its menu of many years ago. Additionally, it is very expensive which  which wouldn't be so bad if the food was more exciting.

I ordered tempura. It was soggy not crunchy at all. I also ordered chicken teriyaki literally that is what u get no rice. Unless you order for an extra charge. Tried giving them a second chance but it was also a failure. You want yummy sushi go to MIkI sushi on PCH u won't regret it.

Was working in Newport Beach and decided to take a lunch break felt like some sushi. Found this place on yelp decided to try it. A bit on the pricey side but you get what you pay for especially when it comes to sushi. This sushi was so delicious so fresh. The presentation on the plate was perfect. The sushi itself was soft and buttery and texture and everything I ordered was just excellent. The atmosphere inside and outside was great. I decided to sit in the outside patio with ocean views. If you’re in Newport Beach and looking for delicious sushi spot this is the place

This is my favorite go to sushi spot. Amazing service. Great menu. Fresh and delicious fish. My favorite menu items are the tempura crab claws, the toro nigiri and their handrolls. Eating at the sushi bar is the most fun because you can see their professionalism and expertise close up which is a great experience. A gem for Newport and Laguna!
