We have been eating here 3 or 4 times a year for a long time and the food is always great. The Salmon, black cod, walnut crusted halibut, & sea bass are my favorites. Hard to find a better restaurant for fish. Highly recommend.

Overall the experience was pretty good. Marcus our waiter was OUTSTANDING. He made up for the slow bussers and kitchen staff that undercooked my dad's steak (asked for medium but it was essentially blue inside). Food options were good and reasonably priced.

We have eaten both lunch and dinner quite a few times at Bluewater Grill. We live about 4 hours away, and when we are in town, we like to try and visit this restaurant. The two main reasons we love Blue Water grill are because of the ambiance and the great view of the water and the boats, and because they are very dog friendly. They even bring out a couple of dog bones for the dogs. The food is good and the service is also great. The staff is very nice and accommodating to changing a meal up or really to anything that you ask including your seating. They were very slow this last time we went for lunch, and kept apologizing. There are a lot of pigeons on their deck so if you have a dog that doesn't care for birds, be aware. Our dog barked at the pigeons a few times since they were taunting her, and the mad behind us was not happy about it. But there were several dogs on the patio and those that regularly dine there, should realize that. But, we did apologize and were very sorry. It's a very clean restaurant ent the inside is quaint and you can feel that you are on the water. It's a really nice place to eat and relax at. You must also try their half and half clam chowder. It's half red and half white in the bowl and that is another reason I like going there. My husband loves their white clam chowder.

Love the remodel and the service was fantastic. Food wasn't as good as I remembered- steak had a lot of gristle and the trout was just okay. Lobster was great!

Had a wonderful alaskan halibut and their hot sourdough bread that they serve for free is wonderful! Service is always good there and the prices are very reasonable for Newport Beach.

We sat outside, but the sun was setting so the shades were drawn, obscuring what would have been a delightful view. I had the Walnut Encrusted Halibut, which was easily one of the best meals I have ever eaten in a restaurant!! Service was attentive. This restaurant definitely goes on our frequent rotation!! Next time, we'll go for lunch!!

My husband and I had lunch here right before we went on a boat for a memorial service. The food and service was amazing but the parking lot attendant is a scammer. Parking should have been 7 dollars because we ate at the restaurant but parking for the boat was supposed to be 15. We paid 15 to be fair but was told by the valet that we had to pay 30. He tried to charge numerous people that just went on the boat 30 dollars even though the captin and the person that organized the memorial service said that thr parking should be 15
