Bosscat Kitchen & Libations

Bosscat is a vibe! The ambiance is a 10/10. This place just feels like the place to be and that's what you're paying for. It's well worth the price if that's what you're looking for. It's exactly what I was looking for. I wanted a nice place to take my son for his 23rd birthday. The food is okay but the vibe of Bosscat elevates everything!

We visited Bosscat for Friday dinner and had a good experience overall. The burrata appetizer was a bit too sweet for us. My son loved his white fish with risotto, the Philly steak sandwich was excellent, and the spicy chicken sandwich was just okay. Service was good, and we'll be back to try more.

We had a Thanksgiving dinner at the restaurant. The food was delicious, and the service was great. The restaurant's decor is also quite beautiful.

Everything about Boss Cat exceeding expectations!!! We picked this wonderful restaurant for our Thanksgiving celebration. Mary, the manager, has created a cohesive environment with her staff. Everyone was pitching to in to help and were so happy to assist the customers. Irvin was our waiter and was fabulous! He gave some good drink recommendations too. Mosic , went above and beyond for us not even our server and was so gracious and could see he could help us at our table. More than what we see at any other restaurant. The food was sooooooo delicious. What a spread for thanksgiving and it came at a great value. This is our new favorite place!

Overall wonderful. Lots of food on the plate with additional sides!! Service was excellent and our server attentive. The only complaint was loud rock music that was a bit jarring and seemed out of place.

Went here for a Birthday celebration and had a blast. Definitely recommend making a reservation, we went on a Tuesday and they were packed.

They changed the menu recently and got rid of the pork chop meal. That was my go to choice. I did have the prime rib Philly sandwich instead. The sandwich was a good backdrop.

I've been wanting to come here for some time and tonight was it. Parking was easy and 3 hour validation at restaurant. The place is decorated very dark wood and low lighting and I loved it. The service was friendly and helpful to select the right item. She recommended for me the Boss Lady as I told her I like sweet whiskey and it was perfect. We started with the country bread and it was so freakin good. If you love garlic, then you need to try it. For my main I had the prime rib sandwich with cheese and it was one of the best I've had. Thick slices of meat and the au jus sauce was perfect. For dessert I had the apple pie and it did not disappoint. It not cheap but so worth it for those special occasions.

Volume in restraunt repeatedly hit 90 decibals, making the overall experience less desirable than it could be. Too loud + expensive food resulted in my only ordering a $4.00(!!) Iced tea.
I would recommend if you have a hearing aid that you prepare to turn sensitivity way down, or take them out all together.

Beautiful place, terrible execution.

Food was poorly prepared, and the service was subpar.

Service was incredibly slow, the waiter passed by maybe once every 10 minutes. He asked about allergies, and I clearly stated that I’m allergic to spicy food. I ordered salmon with mashed potatoes and barbecue sauce. When it arrived, I took one bite and my mouth and throat started burning. I called him over, and asked if this dish spicy, he casually said, “Yes, but I thought it wouldn’t be spicy for you.”
That’s not just bad service, that’s negligence. It ruined my evening, and it took me over 30 minutes to recover.

We also ordered a medium steak and a medium burger, both came completely overcooked and dry.

For a restaurant that looks this nice, it’s an embarrassment.

To make things worse, they automatically add a 20% gratuity for groups of six, even though service is shared and dishes don’t arrive together.
Another major disappointment.

*I will note that the smoked old fashion was a great show, they smoke it infront of you. The potatoes were tasty. And the apple pie dessert was very nice.

Great choice for a weekend night if you're in the area. The food is tasty and their fries are the best. Val was very professional and welcoming. She was helpful with making a perfect choice from the menu. Don't forget to treat yourself to a drink or few!

We had a great dinner and delicious cocktails to celebrate our anniversary! Everyone was very friendly and welcoming. Will definitely recommend to others and we will be back soon!

Amazing atmosphere, amazing food , amazing drinks!!! If you are in the Irvine area one of the top spots for date night and casual get together! the manager was a delight! I will definitely be back . Number one choice for happy hour , lunch and dinner! Beautiful atmosphere ! Service was top notch ! Hospitality forward here. Very much appreciated. The staff was awesome and welcoming.
