Food was okay, I ordered their steak tacos and the giant margaritas. Tacos could use a bit more flavor either with a side of lime or extra cilantro

Always tricky menu, never trust the happy hour prices as they always have an excuse why that day doesn’t apply the promotions
This place was awesome all the way around!!! And Mike the bartender really did kick ass!!! Definitely hope to make it back soon!!!

Food and drinks were fine, I was just surprised to see a 4.9% Tariff/Inflation/Wage Surcharge on my bill in addition to the tax. I'm not sure if we were even warned about the Surcharge on the menu, but now I feel like I have to read the fine print at restaurants before I order.

Bald gentleman at the bar is bad vibes, making loud abrasive political statements working at a Mexican restaurant is irony. The waitress was very friendly and great. Food is alright too, overpriced now with tariff tax on the bill(didn’t know that was a thing). I would say it’s an ok spot for a quick happy hour beer if there was less of that aforementioned negative vibe present. Not worth it otherwise

Cool mexican bar with great views of the Balboa pier area in Newport. Drinks are average but you are there for the location, prime people viewing, and cool ocean breezes. They offer 2 for 1 drinks at happy hour but not on holiday weekends. Never had the food so can't comment. Love the cool murals on the walls.

Service was good and not that much selection of foods that are actually Mexican , very limited but they have a huge drink and margaritas menu which was cool, and it’s right on the bike path so that was good 👍 definitely gonna try the food next time
There is a whole bunch going on here and that's what makes it so unique. It's the beach experience, personified. Runners, bicycling, surfing, and great food.
